Things you would have loved to have seen done differently

Overall we Bond fans seem to be very satisfied with the majority of the Bond movies and their respective scenes. However, I'm sure there are some things that you would have loved to have seen done differently.
Here's what I can think of just now:
- Diamonds and Quantum to be a proper Revenge follow up to their predecessors
DAF and QOS are my two least favorite movies in the franchises, however I think both of those had great potential to be an absolute great follow up to their previous movies. Diamonds could have been an epic revenge story to take down Blofeld to avenge the death of his wive. And while Quantum was actually a follow up to Casino, I barely notice that apart from featuring Mr. White again, and dealing with Vespers boyfriend at the end. Both were very disapointing movies for me.
The slide whistle sound in TMWTGG
Such an epic stunt completely ruined by the stupid slide whistle!! Still annoys me!
OHMSS with Connery!!
I am one of the few Bond fans that simply doesn't share the love for OHMSS, I wish I liked it more than I do... (Still have to read the novell as of yet, hopefully that will lift my oppinion up somehow)
It largely comes down to Lazenby though... And while it might be tough to picture Connery fall in love, I think it would be very powerful and convincing to see him fall in love after seeing him go from girl to girl in the previous five films. I'm almost certain my opinion on this movie would have gone up miles had Connery starred in it...

I understand John Barry was responsible for the slide whistle. That being the case then it was a rare error of judgement. Given his body of work I can easily forgive him.

From what I understand, he was not happy with his work on The Man With The Golden. It was all done in a bit of a rush. Considering how little time he had I think it is a very impressive score.
And remove those hideous trainers X-(

Although OHMSS is one of my favorite Bond films just as it is, I would love to have seen a version with Connery as the star. I happen to believe Connery could very effectively handle the romantic aspect, although no doubt it would have come off differently from the Lazenby version. Had that happened, I think we would also have been treated to a very different DAF as a follow up. Too bad we'll never know.
