when did he do that talk show appearance promoting Logan Lucky and announcing he would do Bond25? last summer? he still looked his usual tuff wiry self then. I would not have recognised this photo if you didn't name him.
maybe its for a movie part. work out for one film, fatten up for the next. These actors sure put their bodies through a lot of rapid changes for their work

Don't think it's for a part.. In common with the other Bonds outside of 007 the public seem pretty much disinterested while in tenure. It's a Bond conundrum and a curse. Blimey though you are right, rewatched that interview and the difference is striking in such a short space of time. Can't blame a chap for a few beers in between assignments though. Hugh Jackman spoke recently about the joy of carbs after Logan. My concern is that he looks I'll rather than plump.
Of that of which we cannot speak we must pass over in silence- Ludwig Wittgenstein.

After a quick look at the source, I can't see any links between that actor and the people who will decide the casting of the next Bond. Also, Boyega is less tall than Daniel Craig. I could also mention that Boyega doesn't look like the son of a Scottish nobleman and a woman from Switzerland.

Agreed. As has already been stated on another thread race is a touchy subject but it is relevant as you rightly point out; Boyega doesn't fit the background of Bond and similarly, but on the flip side, if Shaft was being rebooted they wouldn't cast Craig in the role.
If Hodge's story idea is as great as all these sources are saying it is, and the whole Hodge/Boyle talk is true, I think we're going to be in for one damn fine Bond film!
