Welcome to AJB, even if it is just a short visit? Perhaps you would care to post images of the collection to give collectors an idea of what you have...you may be sitting on a gold mine?

Well, anyone who can put together a collection like that must have a very good idea what items are worth. Cool :o

I'm about 12 miles away so if fellow ABJers are wanting stuff I could assist in the shipping to the states or elsewhere etc

Well the first thing you should do is call the guineas book of records - they may have made a terrible mistake recently :))

Seriously your relative has amassed an impressive collection and there are plenty of items that have some value though the rest are probably destined eBay..

There are plenty of toy experts on here ( eg poormansajb) who will be able to help you with valuations or even be keen on some themselves.

One thing, the ppk looks like a umarex (reck) equivalent as per this site - I think I can make out perfecta and possibly el Alamein ( though the flash seems to be obscuring that) - just flick down to the appropriate portion of the page

    http://www.muzzle.de/N4/Schreckschuss/Reck_PK_800/reck_pk_800.html

As such gun experts like asp9mm/donk might like to off you some (private) advice...

But congrats, there are definitely some nice pieces there

For myself, I'd like to see the right hand shelves which look like books....

The PPK isn't that collectable Bond-wise. It's an old Perfecta replica circa 1980's that fires 8mm blanks and is therefore illegal to sell except to specialists. Monetary value is around £120 to £150.

Some of those could definitely hold some interest...

There has to be one of those snazzy golden wonder watches in there surely, can't just be 15 year old crisps :))
Very cool collection though, while we wait for the experts verdict I'm going to contact everyone I know called Andy just to be sure...

    Kalikat,
Just wanted to say that its a very impressive collection and that the fact that you inherited it seems to say that 'we' in the Bond community appear to have lost a fellow collector. Condolences to you for I'm sure was a very close friend or relative.

Agreed, it looks a wonderful collection {[] and a lot of effort
Obviously went in to putting it together.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but it's a load of worthless tat. To help you out, I could come round this evening and take the whole lot of your hands for £50. That'll save you the price of a skip.

On a more serious note, that's an impressive collection. I have no idea about values but some of those items must be sought after.

Have you checked the garage? You might be lucky and find a real DB5 !

Bloody Hell! There may be some first editions there. There's quite a bit of money in that collection. Thousands easily.

There is a LOAD of money tied up in that collection. Just don't sell it in bulk as you will lose out big time, you seem to have some rare and valuable pieces there.

Didn't realize it was already being parted-out; thought a member here was helping to organize.
