Just watched Tomb Raider & it was fun. Like DAD with a female star. She makes Jinx look absolute crap IMO.
Cradle Of Life is next.
Any fans of these here?

    There is a certain amount of enjoyment to be had from the Tomb Raider films when disengaging the brain. Much more enjoyment though to be had playing the games. I will always have a soft spot for Tomb Raider II. It was the first game I ever completed, there was a real sense of achievement. Poor Lara though must have died a thousand times. :D

    TR2 was such a beautiful Game -{ China, Venice, Tibet and a sunken Ship at the bottom of the Sea :007) Hence why it's still my all Time favorite in the Series.

    I forgot how good Gerard Butler was in Cradle Of Life.
    Plus it was really funny seeing our very own Mr. Bond in the first one. His American accent is particularly hilarious. :))

    My Son wants to know if anyone has the most recent game, and if so what they think of it.

    I still have to watch that one, as it was a bit of a flop but I have been
    Told it's not as bad as some of the critics made out.
    He's brilliant in an old film ( can't remember the name) about a
    Paedophile Ring. Caught it late one night and he's brilliant in it
    A real sleazy character.

    Horrible movies. I always thought Lara Croft was more Indiana Jones than Bond. But Angelina Jolie was made for that role. Too bad the movies weren't good. They made Tomb Raider Anniversary and an HD version on Tomb Raider Trilogy. Those are good games.

    Good Lord, Sir Miles, are your standards high! First Lea Seydoux and now Angelina Jolie. Jolie is absolutely stunning, especially in the Tomb Raider movies. (Not so much now because she's gotten so skinny!) But that gorgeous face, the magnificent bone structure, the piercing eyes, those luscious lips....mmmmmm! :p

    She's no Meryl Streep in the acting department, although I think she's generally competent. But she's quite a looker!

    I just find her 'nondescript'....and I've yet to see her turn in even a workmanlike performance....sorry, BL...she's all yours -{ :D
