Heres the Henrys and the Snowdons, between the two of them I prefer the Henrys by far, they fit better and are a lot sturdier built then the Snowdons.

I spoke to owner of shop in my town and he has the matchless jacket on order for end of October and he said the price was 725 which is not as expensive as I thought it would be.

Nice glasses. The Snowdons I tried on at Nordstrom seemed sturdy enough, although no match for the Persol 2720. How were the Henrys sturdier? Was it the nosepiece or the temple?

I think the jacket persé looks good- just like the JV :v
I don't think DC has the logo on the arm either but that's nothing I'd be bothered.
I do hope th e price of 700andsomething is true, but I doubt it.

Sounds like someone might have had price mixed up with pieces.

I can't see them selling cheap considering its SPECTRE and only 700 pieces worldwide

yes, indeed it's always rather over- than underpriced AND judging by their IG account, the weekly trips to kitzbühl don't finance themselves :))

I think £899 would be fair price re quality / exclusivity / bond linkage

But fear it may be more

Ewww :# Yet again the commercially available JV jacket slays the Matchless one by not having a nasty looking logo on the arm which isn't screen accurate - unless JV go and do something silly with their October re-stock :s

I believe so. At least that's what was speculated. I don't recall if it was confirmed or not. I'm sure if I'm wrong I'll be corrected lol.

the temples on the snowdons don't feel as solid as either the Henrys or the Markos.

Is the Spectral grey polo literally the same fit as the normal Riviera?

The original 2006 one, the 2007 re-edition, the lighter coloured 2008 version which got baggier at the waist, or the 2010 back to but not quite the same as the 2006 model, or the post 2012 one which was quite close to the 2007 version with the looser bicep and underarm fitting until the 2014 version came along which changed again :s ??!!?? There is no normal with Sunspel. They change more often than a West End dancer.

Very true, though the quality seemed to have been better of late. I picked up a very nice Navy Polo in Soho the other day that is soft as hell and very nice to wear (not Riveria)

I've been lucky in that most of my Sunspels have been made in England. Far superior to the couple Turkish made ones I have, although those aren't bad.

Can't see wearing underwear without an opening, though.

Yeah, there was no way to do this one seriously...

According to Sunspel, this polo is cut more like the ones we knew from 2006/7, more fitted and less baggy in the waist and arms...
