Does anyone else think the Mr White Jacket looks like a Harrington Jacket layered over a peacoat? So essentially 3 different pieces: N.Peal, peacoat and Harrington.

Not at all... may be the screen grabs you are viewing... I cant post an image right now from this computer.. but look at the photo of Bond leaning over the chess board during his confrontation with White.. definitely just one jacket.

They are probably hurriedly making all our jackets as we speak! )
I notice that the sizes that sold out yesterday - S, M & 4XL have not been re-stocked on the website today - may mean, they really have sold out of those sizes, or are waiting for more to be delivered.
I was talking to a friend of mine at lunch today (he deals with cigars) about the Matchless jacket. Because of the nature of his business, many times his product will be limited in the number of boxes produced. His theory is that Matchless probably had 7-10 of each size produced, and put them out there to gauge interest. Similar to what he's seen done in his line of work. So the vast majority of the stock has probably yet to be released.
Im also intrigued how it works on this side of things.
I would have thought maybe they would want some jackets available around the tine of the film launch also to maximise publicity.
No special SPECTRE section on the website either like AVENGERS and Terminator yet, suprised it was just bundled amongst their regular jackets. Maybe not quite prepared on the IT side of things hence the Friday no show??
I am amazed the way Matchless advertises their jackets on the website. Not classy at all. If you compare to the way JV, Churches etc are a bit more subtle. Belstaff has jackets used for way more movies but they don't shout about them all over their website. For a heritage brand they have an unusual way of marketing. As someone else mentioned maybe it's the change of ownership from Uk to European brand.
I like the Jacket from Matchless just can't justify paying that much for it.. I am sure the folks that have ordered the jacket will have some awesome pictures posted... Would be great if Daniel Love considers making a version of it

When you say it fits better do you mean slightly "bigger / more room" "smaller / more fitted" etc
I have a JV XL which fits prob just right and snug so interested to hear the difference!!!
