Today I received my Matchless jackets (size L and XL). The jackets come with a nice Matchless hanger and a beige garment bag.
My thoughts about the sizing would be the following:
I think the Craig blouson runs overall a half size smaller than the JV jacket. At the shoulder and the armhole I would say an entire size. In some cases this may be make it a little difficult to find the right size.
If someone has a little loose fit in the JV jacket, I would suggest to stay with the same size in the Matchless jacket for a nice fitted look. But should your JV jacket fits you extremely tight I would recommend to size up.
For example I'm very happy with the fit of my JV jacket (size L). The fit of the XL Matchless jacket is very similar at the shoulder area and has a good body and arm length, but is VERY baggy at the waist. The size L fits very well at the waist but it is very tight at the upper body and at the upper arms. Did these areas bagged out a little with wearing at this kind of jackets? Since the Large is also somewhat shorter than the JV jacket I'm a little unsure what size I should choose. Some advice would be great.

Both sensational jackets no doubt and will look very classy on screen , however they're very similar in style!!
As mentioned previously I've got a JV on order and literally cannot wait to get it and team it with the N.Peal ready to watch the film on opening night but looking at the comparison shots , I'm kind of glad I didn't outlay the large , perhaps overpriced , Matchless.
I've read a few comments about the jacket and take onboard all the points , this is just my opinion of course , but I do tend to buy the pieces in the films , inc Levi Menlo ect and I'm glad I've chosen the JV.
For those who are fortunate to be able to snag both jackets , congrats and so far look excellent on you , can't wait to grab the JV I think it'll be a regular wearer for me along with my Moncler Harrods jacket which I was fortunate the get for less than half price!
Keep up the good work chaps , I'm particularly keen on the clothing in the movies and like all I'm sure , will be incredibly excited as things develop towards release -{

It's more difficult to say which is better with the Matchless for the reasons you state. Again, may be down to how you plan to wear the jacket most of the time, open, or zipped.

I think I have figured it out regarding paying in Euro vs. the stated currency. Initially, I tried paying directly by credit card (Visa), but their shoddy credit card system declined it and thus I ended up going through Paypal (where I used an AMEX).
My AMEX charge after using Paypal was in CAD and was for the amount quoted of CAD$1295.
I recently got a phone call from my Visa credit card's fraud department stating they turned down a transaction for ~CAD$1395, which I was told was the price after being converted from Euro. So if you are purchasing this jacket on their site, you are better off using the Paypal linking to avoid paying extra from the FX of whatever Euro they are charging.
I can honestly say I'm not too big a fan of Matchless (despite being on the luckier end of their website mishaps). It's quite ridiculous for them to state a price in one currency and to charge the card another without stating anything (my statement and confirmation on their website are all CAD). It baffles me that people can order a jacket on the same site and end up sometimes paying over 30% more. I paid US$970 (no customs yet) for the jacket, but some US customers will end up paying US$1390 + the premium on whatever Euro amount is charged. Hopefully the quality of the jacket will make up for this all!

The more pictures I see the more this jacket is growing on me , although I must say the stills show the jacket darker which I think would of been better.

I think the JV fits you best, but to answer your query: based on looks, I'd go with the large for you unless the back and shoulders are too restrictive for full range of motion.
How is the range of motion compared to the JV? I just tried on my Large JV, and while my chest is currently 39-40" I have broad shoulders. Any smaller a jacket and movement when fully zipped would be uncomfortable. So it looks like for me the large CB may be too restrictive in the shoulders, but the XL would be way too big and boxy in the chest and waist.
Too small or too large? I'm interested but I'm worried about fit as well. I swim in my Levi's Menlo XL, perfect fit in my John Vartos cafe. And my XXL To Ki To is a good fit as well.

The large indeed restrict a little my range of motion. Regardless of the jacket is open or zipped. Perhaps the softest blouson needs a little time to break in. )
The XL is in the shoulder - biceps area of course a bit more comfortable. But neither of the both sizes can compete with the JV jacket.
It's really crazy how such a minimal other cut between the JV jacket and the Matchless blouson can make such a big difference in wearing comfort.
It will be interesting to see how the jacket behaves at the really huge guys here.
My Tom Ford Henry's arrived today. I am really impressed with these. By far the best Tom Ford pair of sunglasses I have compared to the Snowdon's and Markos. What Dean(WaltherP99) had said about how they are much sturdier and feel better made is true. I highly recommend getting a pair!
