I wonder if it could be Matchless (a yet to be released jacket). They have very similar styles on their website (although leather). They also don't have the same zipper on all the styles so wouldn't rule them out on that basis.
I've been googling 'zipped pea coats'. My thinking is its a very nautical styled outfit. Peacoats have the off centred fastening. Albeit buttons. The search has shown some similar looking jackets. Might be worth looking into it.
The GQ article also describes them as black but in the photos they show, the glasses have the same reddish Havana pattern on the frames.
Perhaps, the reddish tint we are seeing is from the lighting and his skin? You can kinda see a reddish tint in Blaine's photos. Just a thought. Could be wrong though.
I think it's a combo of the lighting and the fact that the black aren't entirely opaque. Take a look at the pictures of the black model on Nordstrom's site and you can see that there's almost a two-toned coloring going on -- darker on the front facing parts and a more transparent brownish color on the inside (this is especially noticeable on the arms). With the right lighting I wouldn't be surprised if these take on a sort of tortoise shell appearance.
Regarding the statement by TF that the correct glasses have supposedly not yet been released, I have the sneaking suspicion that they're referring to a special James Bond edition of the Snowdon's likely to be released closer to when the film comes out...just a hunch.
Also over on billy reids site. The zipped jackets and sweaters have a leather attachment on the zip. Could it be that the 'Mr White' jacket is from a billy Reid collection not on sale yet?
Well if Barrett has instagram'd (which like Matchless they did) I would say the odds are very high they are referring to the Mr White jacket. They do so many jackers that are 90% close

Pretty sure this is THE jacket, has the same cut and style, large zip pulls, and importantly Has zips on the back of the sleeve.... Bloody expensive too!

Considering the caption is related to the poster outfit, I wonder if it could be a reference to the trousers, as they haven't really been identified yet (as far as I know, Tom Ford hasn't confirmed its production).
Hmm I would say they are just using the only available official image at the time.
Matchless used the Solden Tom Ford Snow Blouson picture to announce they provided a jacket which has turned out to be the Morocco one.
You never know though but I'm confident its the jacket judging by their jackets.
