Mr. White possibly figured out! (Spoiler warning)

So guys, if you haven't figured out this yourselves, allow me to share a strong gut feeling that I got about Bond 24. I decided to also give the title a spoiler warning, since these hints may ruin the sense of mystery about the film:
1. In Casino Royale, Mr. White kills Le Chiffre, showing us that he's got no qualms about killing his own people for secrecy.
2. At the end of the film, he gets shot in the legs by Bond.
3. In QoS, Mr. White is spending most of his time lying down or sitting in some chair.
4. In the opera scene, Mr. White remains seated instead of fleeing with the rest. He may be unable (or unwilling) to leave.
5. We're given absolutely zero closure for Quantum at the end, only to be introduced to Raoul Silva.
Some less compelling hints:
6. Notice that Mr. White is called exactly that - Mr. White, possibly a codename inspired by a favorite color.
7. Mr. White is excessive calm in everything he's doing, so I don't figure him to be much of a dog person.
8. Most men start to bald in their 50s thru 60s and it can happen very quickly and for various reasons. Some use wigs too.
9. Seing that this is a 007 reboot, chances are that certain character traits (names, features, etc) are also rebooted.
10. When a secret organization is compromised, it sometimes does a purge, then goes underground and changes its name.
But:
The most compelling evidence of all? In Diamonds Are Forever, Blofeld literally hijacks the identity of one Mr. Willard Whyte. So it may be that Mr. White is employed by Blofeld - or - he IS Blofeld using an alias or another's identity. Even if this wasn't originally the plan, the fact that the legal matters have been settled can easily allow for this change (and they may very well have had it as the preferred plan, should the legal matters be settled - which it did). Top movie makers rarely put all eggs in one basket.
I'll leave those as the hints. So let me instead top it off with this "interesting" interview with Christoph Waltz:

However, the filmmakers could have come up with the same things you have when writing Spectre and rethought the White character.
(wouldn't it be fun if everyone who posted in this thread interpreted your post differently? ) )
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh.... You crashed the party for them! But it's funny to see all those ideas popping up if you already know the story somehow based on the leaked script (which has vastly changed so they might as well have changed some major plot details!)
hmm..i believed that EON HAD in fact secured the rights to Blofield in 2005/2006...
could be wrong, but this is a plausible possibility...a very good one indeed.
Mr Blue
Mr Green
etc..
McClory died in 2006 and his estate sold their rights to MGM and Danjaq in November 2013.

That's it. He MUST be Blofeld )

I hope it is rewritten...fingers crossed !
thanks for clarifying -{
We can also have a Mr. Pink, Mr. Brown and Mr. Yellow
There already was a "Mr. Greene." Dominic Greene in Quantum
Bond kills "Slate" (a shade of gray) in QOS also.
For your eyes only. B-)
Also, notice how Vesper Lynd's contact in Casino Royale has an eye patch like Emilio Largo and, like Largo, gets impaled by a sharp projectile (a nail gun, similar to Largo's spear gun).
Dominic Greene resembles Auric Goldfinger (he coats Fields in tar and seeks to control the water (gold?) market). In the old days, Gold was often seen as "the most precious commodity of all". And money is, after all, "green".
These are just references, but even references can hint to possible foreshadowing and underlying structure of the "Quantum" organisation. Tbh though, I think Quantum was just Greene's personal organization and that the meeting at the Opera was not actually Quantum, but Spectre (unbeknownst to Bond and MI6, so they and the viewers all assume it's Quantum).
But we'll see.
Just keep in mind that thinking about SPECTRE wasn't a legal option for the QoS writers. Quanutm was the new SPECTRE. At that time they had no idea that SPECTRE would again be the legal property of the Bond film makers 5 years later.
You are very good. Don't be surprised when the film comes out your guesses will be very close to the mark...
Very nice Theories
I agree. As I wrote above, there was no plan to use SPECTRE in the future when QoS was made. If the opera was actually a SPECTRE meeting, that would be a retcon.
My interpretation of the long term outcome of the opera scene in QOS was that it was great blow to the Quantum organization. Bond was able to "out" many Quantum members, an organization which thrived on secrecy and placing operatives inside governments, corporations, etc. I would assume that based upon those identities that Bond supplied, MI6, the CIA, and other intelligence organizations were able to round up a good many of them and force those who were able to escape into hiding, which would have included Mr. White and cripple Quantum. My theory (having not veiwed one word of the SPECTRE script draft) is that either SPECTRE was created out of the ashes of Quantum or that Quantum was just a part of a larger organization called SPECTRE, Quantum being the arm of SPECTRE that handled infiltration into governments, intelligence agencies, militaries, the military industrial complex, corporations, etc. Can't wait to see SPECTRE to see it all play out.
