No mate, not seen that.
I don't mind people asking for help, and when I've not been told under a 'FYEO' condition, I'll give people a few pointers and advice.
Trouble is that most times people help me with info on a confidential basis, so I'm obliged to keep quiet. Some might seen this as me being secretive or unhelpful, others hopefully see it as me keeping my word.
When people copy my work I take it as a compliment, especially when there's recognition.
But when this lying, deceptive and down right theiving git acts all nice, gets the info and then runs with it, it really pisses me off. And then he made it worse by slating my efforts (which he claimed to be inaccurate, but still copied them) in order to steer people his way, even though I wasn't doing a run of that particular prop.
Jeff, can't fault you on your respect for fellow researchers and prop makers and totally agree on your assessment of said person, was going to say gentleman but we know that would be a lie

Beautiful work! Love the attention to detail!! Are the dragons metal-etched or are those 3D printed, like the original chips? Whatever method you're using, they look amazing!

The dragons are etched in brass, there's over 400 scales on that dragon! how do I know? Because it took me 3 hours to place each and every one in the artwork...
Yeah the originals were 3D printed, but the fact that you had to ask makes me feel etching the dragons instead was a good call.
I know I may be jumping the gun... but would this be something you would consider making for sale for the board members?
OK, after seeing this project unfold.... I give up on being subtle.... I really really really want one. I would love to provide a donation to your future projects
