He was grinning from time to time all the way through both his outings - I can't bear to watch them again just so I can do screen grabs, but it tends to be every time he interacts with a woman - it's his 'charming' face.

So when was this? When he held Pushkin at gunpoint? When he is cornered by Sanchez? When he chases necros in the fairground?
What James bond does there blows the screen away?
I agree with you about brosnan
1. For Your Eyes Only 2. The Living Daylights 3 From Russia with Love 4. Casino Royale 5. OHMSS 6. Skyfall
I keep hearing TD did it by the book? oh, by the book, by the book! if I wanted it just by the book...I'd buy the bloody book! why don't we just string one up and film it...answer cos it would come off as wooden as TD
The genesis of bond is the books. Its the bible they all refer too.whenever they go back to the books
We've always have the literary James bond to refer too.

Dalton just didn't have that electric aura about him. He was good looking, but not in a way that leapt out at you. Kind of low star quality.
In short- perfect Bond.

I think some people can't pick up on the subtle nuances of a great
Shakespearian actor, such as Dalton. I'm sure under his Tux
Dalton had the Baird's tights on. and was channeling many of the
Great British Actors, of old. -{

Agreed, it takes a hero to wear tights .

Well, it has a delivery like a brick through a plate glass window.

I think Connery is the best actor to have played Bond. I don't think any of the other actors to have played Bond come close to Connery's acting talent, with the exception of Craig. Connery's performance in his first two films were nothing short of magnificent and, as Gassy Man said, he 'owned' the character. Connery is Bond.
Absolutely, 100% correct. I think Dalton does a fantastic job as Bond, as does Craig, but this simple truth cannot be ignored - Connery IS Bond! {[]
errrr, you are aware that Dalton is not playing Bond anymore ? :v
We all know that you have missed most parts of the last 3 decades :v - I am just sayin'
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Act 1, Scene 2. A rock in the sea.
2nd Sentry: Cry hold! You live no more.
Act 2, Scene 1. An opera house.
Saunders: I am Saunders, he who commands Vienna. Your tardiness is reprehensible.
Act 4, Scene 4. The wizard's lair.
Moneypenny: 'Twas unknown to me your fondness for the muse, Sir James. I entreat thee, should happenstance in the twilight hour thou be unencumbered, thou should attend my domicile for perusal of my Barry Manilow collection.

"Shall I compare Dalton to a summer's day?
He art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of Higgins
And summer's lease hath all too short a date". ( only two films ) )

Lady Kara, tis the hour when all deceit laid aside must be. No friend of Georgi's am I; whence Albion, where my duties lie, I journeyed seeking his atonement for the betrayal of all. 'Twas I, none other, that with aim true shot the flintlock from your sweet hands.
"What a piece of work is Dalton! how noble in reason! how infinite in faculty! in form and moving how express and admirable! in action how like an angel! in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals! "

Just like the Shakespeare Star Wars Trilogy books. They're a good read
