I see no reason to believe Bond and Oberhauser are biological half-brothers. Bond was a foster child in the Oberhauser family in his early teens, no more - no less. To me it looks like the burnt photo is of Bond and Oberhauser senior and jr. Bond burnt out his own face - why? I don't think there are any reason to belive the trailer is indicating that Bond's parents were killed by SPECTRE or anyone else. At least I hope so. Someone wrote that the landscape shots were stunning. I think they were moody and well shot, but it just looks like a cloudy day at home. Pretty much like where I'll be tomorrow, in fact. They could have offered more spectacular landscape shots and Lea Seydoux , but that might have changed the mood of the teaser trailer.
The crows may very well be a reference to Glenn's doves. Is mr White hiding out in the old Oberhauser house? If so - why? Was White waiting there for Bond? Or perhaps it's mr White's childhood home, but I find it less likely.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the boy is Bond (a childhood photo of Craig superimposed) It's the other boy who's face is burnt out. Which I'm assuming was burnt in the Skyfall Lodge fire.
Yes that's how I understood it - also probably no coincidence that the burnt out face and (presumably) Blofeld's face in shadow are one and the same...

No, you may be right. Waltz and Craig look vaguely simmular, so the picture could be of any one of them.but Waltz is older than Craig, so it would make sense if Oberhauser is the older boy on the photo. In that case it would make sense if Bond burnt the face in a sort of "sibling" rivalry (why does he get to have a dad and not me?)
Bond is sent to Mexico to assassinate an enemy of the state. This goes wrong and he ends up chasing him through the streets. The enemy escapes via helicopter but Bond gets on board, kills the villain and assumes control of the chopper. He retrieves a Spectre ring from dead enemy.
Bond returns to London where M gives him a bollocking because MI6 is about to merge with MI5 and somehow that's Bond's fault??
So as usual, he's handed some personal effects from Skyfall and goes home to sulk. It turns out Judy Dench has a lead on Mr a white from beyond the grave that also links him to his foster family, the Oberhausers. Bond heads off and corners Mr White. Who agrees to sell out Spectre and Oberhauser if Bond agrees to protect his daughter. Bond agrees, White spills and the tops himself.
Bond goes to Rome to meet White's daughter and also sees Oberhauser. They are chase :007) d.
Then they end up in Austria, where they meet Batista, who tries to kill them. Bond ends up in an aeroplane.
Then they end up in Tangiers, where Oberhaser's lair is. There is classic Bond has dinner with the baddie scene here. It all goes tits up but Bond escapes and Onerhauser is presumed dead.
Bond gets back to London but finds MI6 no longer exists. Then he finds out Oberhauser is alive and well and is lurking in the derelict MI6 building. Bond has to get there to rescue Mr White's daughter, which he does, and then there is a helicopter chase over the Thames. Bond brings down the chopper with a flare and it crashes onto one the river bridges. Oberhauser stumbles out and Bond reveals his real name is Enst Stavro Blofled!!! Instead of killing him, Bond hands him over to the cops.
Roll credits.
Or so I've been told. At least it has the gunbarrel at the start.

I didn't get any version. This is what I was told. I've simplified the middle bit too. I actually don't mind most of it apart from the family link, to be honest.
Having not read any leaked scripts I don't know as much as many here. Loved the atmosphere of the trailer, really hoping they don't make a massive family link between Bond and Blofeld, else how come neither of them referred to it in the Connery films. Come to think of that, presuming Bond learns what SPECTRE is in this film, how come when Dr No explains that he works for SPECTRE Bond replies "SPECTRE?". And the damaged MI6 building suggests this is very soon after Skyfall. Or no builders firm can afford the London congestion charge!

Remember -CR was a reboot of the franchise so they essentially started from the beginning with DC's first Bond movie. He wasn't even a "00" at the beginning of CR.
BOND - "I'd say it's a 30-year-old fine indifferently blended Sir...with an overdose of bon bois."
M - "Colonel Smithers is giving the lecture 007!"
I don't believe in a 're-boot' of Bond . He's not a ZX Spectrum, he's Ian Fleming's James Bond!
The timeline started over with Casino Royale, that's why questioning what happened before that won't give you any answers. It's the same Ian Fleming character, they just started the story over again. I didn't like the idea of them starting over again either, but I accept it because that is what happened. You need to accept that too if you want to make sense of the new films. Anything that the previous 5 film Bonds did is irrelevant.
Also, the damaged MI6 building could just be a flashback.
I must've watched the teaser trailer about twenty times already! I finished work at half 10 last night, anticipating seeing a minute or so of Spectre.. 23:45 last night I wasn't disappointed!
Spectre has the potential to be the greatest Bond film ever! It looks dark, very sinister, I like it a lot!
I've never wanted a year to go so fast in all my life! November 6th, cannot wait!
Can't write a lot now as in work but been reading through the comments, will post a bit more tomorrow {[] cheers all!

A lot of what happened in the original film timeline didn't always jive with the books either.
This Bond is a lot closer in character to what Fleming had imagined, and most of the same themes run in the current series. Look at CR. They changed major bits, but in theme and general mood, it pretty much hit all the same marks as the book.
If you've not been put off by the new Moneypenney, Q or M, you probably aren't going to be put off by any of the slight changes that come about because of SPECTRE, IMO. If they pull off what's in the script (and I have no reason to doubt that Mendes and Craig can't), I think it's going to be every bit as good as Skyfall or better. I think maybe that CR and Skyfall has spoiled some. Remember when Bond was fighting diamond skinned baddies and people who had their entire race changed who had invisible cars?!?! :v

Maybe not Bond's himself.....
But there is likely going to be a bit of "retroactive continuity" involved.
Seriously, I think this will work wonderfully. Nothing in SPECTRE is going to be as over-the-top as past non-Craig Bond's were.
James Bond as a Japanese Ninja?
Billfold going from Tele Savalas to an older British dandy?
I am SO glad I didn't do any of that! I probably wouldn't know where to find it anyway )

Been reading Bond books too long! I do like the more serious tone of the new films though.
Alrighty then! You obviously know what you're talking about!
