I was in a cocktail place with the missus on Saturday night and it was on the menu. Never had one before.

Bloomin' heck, they are strong!, took me about 45 minutes to drink it.

It was nice, but I couldn't have managed another one!

    The barman on the plane in QoS said Bond had drunk 6 Vespers.

    I would be violently sick after about two or three I reckon, they just don't seem to be the kind of thing you could drink all night.

    Bond is a borderline alcoholic, so his body could easily handle six. ;)

    I love a Vesper Martini. They are strong but it's a lovely drink to savour. It does make me feel a bit Bond like whenever I have one or two, or three.. :D -{

    Love me a Vesper! When I watch Bond films, I will usually make one after the PTS and one at the midway point of the film. Sometimes I drink them too fast and don't take time to savor!

    My specialty is the Skyfall martini that I made up (I won't say created as I'm sure others have thought of it). Which is 3 parts Gin, 1 part Vodka shaken. Pour into a chilled martini glass. Then in a separate shaker, shake 1 part Blue Curacao. Pour over the martini in the glass and watch the Skyfall! -{

    Of interest I would imagine...

    I am still only at -{ -{ -{ -{ -{ in the one sitting. That was a spin, but I reckon with a decent full english breakfast and a Sunday roast in the tank, one of these days I'll find the right evening in the right bar/home and hit a six.
