I wasn't going to... but I am NOW!

(Comic releif is always around my b-day... 16th March, and sometimes I just feel so depressed when I watch :( )

However, I've donated... and I LOVED the sketch DC did with Catherine Tate a few years ago... bought the DVD actually, so will record, and skip through the depressing bits :D

Nice to see the Bond team getting involved, especially MGW. The film about the little lad whose dad helped him breathe all through the night had me in tears. Poor little sod passed away the next morning aged 3 years old.

Never take what you have for granted, and when you can, give to others who aren't so fortunate.

Oh and Russel Brand is acting like a complete tw@t again, using a charity event to spout his political hypocracy and take the piss. Fook me I'd love to punch that knob in his bawlbag.

It's great to see that the cast and crew can laugh at themselves and it's for a great cause. But...

I cringed throughout it all, it was like it was written by a 5 year old. My 2 and 5 year old children who laugh at pretty much anything were stony-faced throughout it too.

I hate telethons and I was out last night but I'm sorry I missed this. Having searched all over YouTube I can only find a cammed version taken off the TV. If anyone has a better way of watching please post a link or PM me. Thanks.

Hahahahahaha. Just found it on catch up TV. Thought it was awful! Sorry folkes.

As I said I did enjoy it, but I think the last one they did with C Tate and
Daniel was funnier. Although I do feel most of the stuff on comic relief
Is always below par, in fact some of it is very poor material indeed.
Like Strangeways, I hate these telethons and avoid them when I can.

I know someone who worked Backstage on RND a few Years back. He told me that they had Champaign on Ice for the Presenters and Guests.

Hearing Sir Roger being dubbed by Sarah Millican was hilarious.

As for the sketch, I absolutely loved it.

Thought it was very funny and it was great to see so many of the team taking part. All came across as good sports.

Honestly when I read Roger Moore was returning to 007 I thought the sketch was Roger Moore playing Daniel Craig being the tough Bond in his old age. I'd have like to have seen that. For me the sketch was a non event. I much preferred the Daniel Craig sketch with Catherine Tate.

It was OK - nothing more but it was for a good cause, but not my type of humour really. I just saw the sketch on a thread on MI6.

And I agree that Russel Brand is an annoying twit and much worse but this is a family forum so I'll say no more. :D
