At the beginning of this movie Bond knows how to break into M's house, use M's computer and log into her MI6 account from Nassau.

M: How does he know these things?

Indeed. How does he know these things? It's never explained.

    True it's not explained but Bond has always had some " hidden assets " ;)
    I'd say it was a case of Bond being good at his job, I would assume that
    He's been on many a course to cover house breaking, surveillance and all
    Manner of covert operations. ;)

    Yeah, I know he's a spy, I know it's just a film, but it's not just your or my house, it's the house of the head of MI6. Pretty slack if you ask me.

    Compared to that last poker hand in CR everything else in a Bond movie is completely realistic :))

    That they get such great hands, as from playing poker for real. Sometimes the

    True, but the reveal probably wouldn't be as dramatic if Bond just one with a pair of three's :))

    Remember, Bond doesn't trust anyone, so he would learn and use these skills to find out info on stuff. This way, he doesn't have to trust what others (even his superiors) tell him.
