The " Chick flick" guide to 007

I was wondering which of the Bonds would best suit the "chick flick"
movie fan. I'm going for the Bond with a big emotional content, a healthy dose
Of Romance and some humour ?
My pick would be the fantastic OHMSS. With a human 007, falling in love, a high
Number of emotional scenes, but with a few laughs coming from some great one
Liners from Bond. Even the ending should have the hardest of men, shedding a
Tear.
Casino Royale and Skyfall, also fit the bill for a mix of romance with many scenes
were the actors have to show much inner turmoil or emotions. As with OHMSS, SF
Gives us another " pulling on the heart strings" ending.
TWINE, is probably the most romantic of the Brosnan Bonds. With Bond falling in
Love, only once again to be cheated, of happiness.
In some ways FYEO, fills many of the boxes for a Richard Curtis Romantic comedy
With Bibi trying to force herself on an aging lothario, rather like a younger sister trying
to seduce her older siblings boyfriend. Although Bond isn't distracted and ends the movie
In the arms of his love interest.
Any other suggestions,or thoughts ?

    Mrs C&D says that Casino Royale is the only one she really enjoyed. Partly because the love themeis so strong and integral to the plot, rather than being tacked on; partly because she prefers Daniel Craig's more realistic portrayal. (I'm sure the scene with DC rising from the waves also has a bearing :)) ).

    From a bloke's point of view though I'd agree that OHMSS should rank highly in the emotional stakes.

    Agreed Mrs TP ( lucky woman) also rates CR as a Romantic movie , according
    To her DC has the loveliest eyes of any man on the planet. It's one of the few she
    Watched without " Rolling her eyes" at times.
    I also think DC coming out of the water was a big selling point for her too. ;)

    The Relationship between Bond and Anya :) Two Agents from opposing Sides at first having a bit of distrust in each other, and then growing close.

    Anya's Romance with Bond after the Death of her Lover is like a healing Process (But then feels betrayed when she learns that Bond killed him) -{

    I don't understand how Anya is in love with Bond at the end of the film. I've always felt that she has dishonoured Barsov's memory. If she really loved him, she wouldn't sleep with Bond.

    I think the best Bond chick flick is Welcome to Japan Mr Bond. :)) A woman trying to become Bond's wife while two other women are trying to find out who Bond is about to get married to.

    CR-06 and OHMSS are the two films where 007's heart is thrown in a blender, so they are the two films that seem to qualify.

    I say it like that, because although Lazenby does a great job of showing how Bond feels about Tracy, 007 is his usual self while at Piz Gloria. Ok we only see him carrying on with two of the women and implication if a third, but it seems a bit off considering he is supposed to already be falling for Tracy at that point. It doesn't gell well for me.

    Yes Bond romances Solange in CR-06, and he clearly would have had a full night of hot and horny excitement had Demitrios's plans not changed, but Vesper came later. Ahem. There is also the detail that Bond was prepared to give up on the service in order to be with Vesper. Considering Skyfall paints a picture that he had nothing and no one else, that retrospectively makes CR-06 sadder and more romantic. Esp when QoS makes the point that M-Manf was right. Vesper sacrificed herself and betrayed the man she loved, so he could live, knowing she would die as a result.

    Last I checked, it was a fling. Not romance.

    The fact that Bond could have done almost anything to show her affection but decided on sexual intercourse, because he's Bond, right?

    Anya understood Bond was only doing his duty and it was nothing personal. Plus, she must have been grateful that Bond risked everything to save her from Stromberg's lair.
