Dan Stevens had mid tone brown hair. It looks darker when it grows. Mine used to be similar. He went Blonde for Downton to contrast the fact most of the male cast had dark hair.
As a potential Bond he could be fantastic. Except, he is not a committer. The actors who play Bond have by default to sign a contract that commits them to three films. (Only Lazenby didn't.) I am not sure he would be willing to make that commitment to such a huge, famous commercial project.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
If Craig honours his five film contract, the next Bond actor won't be appearing until 2021! Bond 25 is likely to be released in 2018, Craig likely to retire after that film, Bond 26 released in 2021.
I reckon most of the names currently mentioned won't be considered. It will be some new guy, perhaps.
I know, I'm saying that if he started playing Bond now he would be the youngest.
But he won't. As stated, assuming that Craig continues for two more films, it'll be 2021 before the next actor's debut as Bond. In 2021, Nicholas Hoult with be 32 years old.
I would be in favour of Nicholas Hoult playing Bond. I think he can pull it off.

Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson have said that Craig's contract is 'open ended'...it will (probably) be Craig that decides when he's finished as Bond...

Then what's the deal with the contract for two films after Skyfall that was reported everywhere in 2012?

Did Eon ever confirm that ? Don't think they did...Babs & Mikey were speaking a few weeks ago about his 'open ended' contract though...maybe he signed for two more films but they've spoken about going longer...?...one thing for certain, if DC doesn't like the next script he won't do it - contract or not !

I remember him from SKINS on Channel 4. He would be the youngest Bond )
In 6 years he would be older than Lazenby was in his first Bond movie.
I see. Craig is Bond now, so I didn't think his current age would be relevant.
