This may have been posted since the film came out, but did any British AJBers get a thrill at seeing so many scenes in the capital or for that matter, even non-Brits like myself? Personally, it was a thrill to see so much of the film focused there and at so many locations since Bond's home base has historically been relegated to Pinewood indoor sets. I think that's one of main reasons I enjoy re-watching it.

I personally think it shined a Spotlight on the City -{
On loan to the Americans. )
Totally agree, the scene in Deptford ,where Bond has his Aston stashed, was my dads premises, we went ape in the cinema ,when it came on ,it was just so surreal. Its about time ,London got more Bond location coverage
I mean I just had to go and get my trunks ,and have a quick swim ) .
no rude comments please AOS
I was excited to see Scotland get more attention. It had been used before, but only in small scenes.
I personally think it shone a spotlight on the country.
Personally I loved those district line scenes between Temple and Westminster. One of those people on the tube is me and I loved the chase to "the hearing". I love Bond in the tunnels trying to extricate himself from the oncoming trains.
Also we got to see one of our great art treasures - "the Fighting Tamarhire" by Turner in the National gallery..
One of the best Bond locations.

It was nice to see Scotland as well.
