I was just wondering if any members are familiar with the architecture of the buildings in Notting Hill. I've been trying to figure out if the buildings like the one they used for Craig's new abode are Regency style architecture. Have been doing some research, but have not had any luck so far.

Here's a blog post from another member, who visited the house they used for Bond's flat. http://bondmisc.weebly.com/bond-24/-spoiler-nobody-home-at-bonds-flat

Warning, I believe it contains spoilers

They have moved him on from Chelsea?

it would be nice for Bond to live in a flat on the Thames ie Canary wharf. My memories of Notting Hill are of Georgian architecture...

Bond's flat was sold in SF and his belongings put into storage. We can assume the flat was his one in Chelsea.

There may be a number of factors for the choice of the Notting Hill building in SPECTRE.
For instance, filming logistics and permits may have been easier to get there. Residents tend to squabble about large film crews blocking off their neighborhoods and flooding the
streets with lights at night (and making a lot of noise with their generators) - even if it's a Bond film. Another possible reason is that it may be one of the few places the location scout could find that fit the particular look they were going for and was available. There may have been a few in Chelsea, but the owners may have declined permission. We must also keep in mind that though locals may know where it's at in London when watching the film, most audiences unfamiliar with London will not, and I doubt if it's location will even be mentioned in the script. We'll just see Moneypenney visiting Bond there and the dialogue will be about the plot. They may include a line referring to the fact he just moved in and they may say something like:
    MONEYPENNY
I like you're new flat - it's like your old one. Expensive?

    BOND
    About the same.

    MONEYPENNY
Looks like you still have a lot more upacking to do.

    BOND
You're not here to check on how my moving is going.

    MONEYPENNY
No, James. I've got something important to give you.

It will probably be more or less along those lines. Though we may have fascination about where Bond's zipcode is, most audiences don't, so they probably won't discuss it in the film.

    Or ......

Bond : " Moneypenny, get your hands of my big package !"
    Moneypenny : " Can't blame a girl hoping for a Special delivery"

    Carry on Bond ! :))
Although I agree Moneypenny may remark on his new Flats location. :)

Was hoping someone might have had an answer to my post. I'm not having any luck
finding out if those buildings in Notting Hill are of the Regency design.

Great news..found this old article from Variety about Annie Lennox selling her Notting Hill house
    in 2013. http://variety.com/2013/dirt/real-estalker/annie-lennox-lists-in-london-272/

The article describes it as being a five-floor, Regency terrace house and it's obvious it's the
same style as the one they filmed Craig at.
