Dalton in Goldeneye

Just a caveat, I think Brosnan gave a perfect performance in Goldeneye (and I have absolutely zero complaints about it). But a friend and I were talking about what the movie would've been like had there been no 5-year-long court battle and Dalton hadn't resigned.

I don't think the movie would have been better, but it would have been different. And while it probably would have sold less than in 1995, it would've been Dalton's definitive movie.

So how would the movie be different?

For one thing, Famke Jamssen would still be a good henchwoman but she would have more of a subtle approach toward killing people rather than jumping on their bones like a nymphomaniac and strangling them.

The movie would lack the humor, charm and flirting though. While I do think Dalton would have done the romantic scenes well later in the movie, I don't think he could have flirted in the beginning of the movie like Brosnan did.

I'm not sure any other actor aside from Dalton or Brosnan could have pulled Goldeneye off.
