Is it christmas in september in OHMSS?

Watching OHMSS again at the moment. When Bond throws the knife on Draco's kalender, it is implied to be the month of september. He then goes to the office, asks for the two weeks leave and within that time (or shortly after) it is implied that Bond visits Piz Gloria. However now it's all of the sudden christmas time. Did anyone ever notice this? Is this a mistake, or am I missing something that isn't stated?

Family tree as a cover, this along with him learning a little
about heraldry, would have taken a few months, I guess.
Well actually, when he goes to M he was still in his two weeks leave, he told M he's been doing the research during that time, and he also said he already contacted Sir Hilary Bray himself (even though the movie shows that in the next scene, it is implied to be a flashback) So Bond is ready to go and start his undercover mission at that point. But for some reason the movie decides to skip October and november in the next instant :P (atleast, so it seems... )

when Bond meets Draco the first time it's septembre; later when they are at his birtdayparty where Bond and Tracy become lovers we see a lot of different scenes featuring them (horseback riding, walk on the beach) and I think these scenes happen over the time of 2,5-3 months so that it's short before X-mas when the Piz Gloria scenes start
Sadly, no: Draco tells Bond his birthday is "next week", and as said by Dutchfinger above M says 007 is still on leave, ie within the two weeks granted before James goes to the birthday party.
the events of Bond's meeting with Draco to Bond at the college of arms all take place in septembre.when Bond arrives in switzerland you could say that some time has gone by but it doesn't work because:
a) the college of arms is a flashback
b) at 00:48:24 you see Campbell reading a paper that refers to a deleted scene which also took place in septembre
I think it's just a tiny flaw by the filmmakers we over-analyzed
Bond hitting the Books ( looking completely out of his comfort zone)
Shots of Bond leaving the library, with arms full of Books
Sir Hilary Bray, looking through a glass door as he switches off the lights
Seeing a tired Bond staying on researching.
Bond angrly pushing books off his desk
Sir Hilary ( in a pork pie hat, cigarette in moth, towel round his shoulders) telling
Bond he's a Bum.
More shots of Bond hitting the books ( only more confident ) one pencil between
His teeth, the other behind his ear.
Sir Hillary looking on , gradually smilling as we all see Bond improve.
Last shot.
A nervous Sir Hilary waiting outside test hall, The door opens and a disappointed
Bond appears.......... Quickly his face changes to a broad smile, as he holds up a
Document with " Pass" printed on it.
Sir Hilary puts his hand out to congratulate Him,but Bond slaps it away and gives him
A big man hug !
That camping/fishing trip, to the highlands of Scotland.
this is something that confused me when I was watching the movie the other day
It was one of those Septembers when it felt like the summer would last forever.
The events after Dracos office are in October and November. Bond arrives in Switzerland undercover as Bray in December. Bray takes Christmas off to do brass rubbings in Brittany.
Does this work?
I'm affraid not. the scenes after Draco's office are the heraldry scenes, where Bond also visits M's house. but there, M says that Bond is still on his 2 weeks-leave which he had gotten before the Draco scenes.
" .... Sometime later, Bond arrives in Switzerland ".
was later.
Scenes of the foot chase and the tube tunnel scene with
Q, which might have helped with the sense of time having passed ?
but then again, there is this deleted scene where Bond follows Hilary Bray's assistant ( who turns out a henchman of Blofeld) through the streets of London where the henchman is finally thrown infront of a train.the MI6 covers up the incident so Blofeld doesn't smell a rat.
later, when Campbell is seen at Lauterbrunnen station, you can briefly see the accident as a headline of his newspaper which makes it a recent topic- in septembre
this illustrates my point (esecially at 6:05)

Have been a report on the inquest, into it. Also the days are
Very short in winter, which may also have sped up the process.
either that or Bond took the Delorean for a spin ) -{ wait a second....
I suggest you don't worry about it and just enjoy the movie !
( Before Barbel, posts it ) )
btw: cool clip but I've never ever seen a complete AP film
over again. I too love the film, and have never even noticed it before, but
It will not stop my enjoyment of the film. {[]
I was always occupied with more important stuff e.g. the stunning locations.
Unless somebody here somehow finds the awnser why this should not be a plothole.. But I personally don't see it :P
