Gunbarrel gun sounds

Some of the gunbarrels use different sound than others. Can anyone identify the guns/gun the sounds come from. I've never heard a gun go KA-POW like in Sir Roger's era.
The next lot is number 48. A superb green-gold imperial Easter egg by Carl Faberge. Enameled in translucent green, enclosed by gold laurel-leaf trellis. Set with blue sapphires and four petalled gold flowers with diamonds.

    Do you mean the echo? In general, gun sounds in movies have changed a lot over the years. Guns don't echo so much anymore.

    The sound used as Bond's gun in the barrel has changed over time too. I'd like to know if the sounds are from different guns, or if they aren't, whatever makes them different.
