Heritage October Bond Poster Auction

There are some incredible rarities coming up in Heritage's October James Bond poster auction including a 1965 UK double bill of two 40x60 Dr No and From Russia with Love posters which this collector has not seen before. I'm purely guessing but looking at the layout of images I would say the design allowed the cinema manager to create his own one off poster by cutting out the images to be pasted onto a wall or backing? -{

There is a sting in the tail however. First the auction kicks off online including evilbay where you may be the high bidder?, plus buyers premium, then the buggers open it to on the floor regular bidding once online bidding has closed where if their last similar Bond poster auction is anything to go by...prices go NUTS! :(

    Beware on those posters, then. No sense in going off half-rolled...?

    These are indeed VERY rare but not very attractive to display - in my view...

    A friend of mine who knows the consigner told me the following: These are 3 sheet size posters printed in England. They were issued in Oct/Nov 1965 as tie-ins with Pan Books for the British re-issues of DR NO/FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, to be cut apart to help create a window display promoting the books and the double bill.
