I just think that when you factor in that a nuclear apocalypse would leave the world's oceans irradiated for generations, Stromberg wouldn't be able to consume anything from said oceans (although I'm not 100% sure about that).

Yeah, it just depends on the viewer how much impact those flaws have.
DAF's flaws (the ones I perceive anyway) have a pretty strong impact on me.

Like most have said FRWL and OHMSS appear to be as flawless as a Bond movie could get .... On the other hand, "flawless" could also imply a Bond film with technical brilliance, silly moments, amazing stunts, OTT plot, cool gadgets, etc., and in that respect, there are many including MR

That's one of my biggest problems with it. I think it has some of the worst dialogue in the series. Moonraker's dialogue is terrible, but it goes with the tone of the film. I'm supposed to take CR seriously, but I can't when I hear anyone speak.

All right... by the cut of your suit, you went to Oxford or wherever. Naturally you think human beings dress like that. But you wear it with such disdain, my guess is you didn't come from money, and your school friends never let you forget it. Which means that you were at that school by the grace of someone else's charity: hence that chip on your shoulder. And since you're first thought about me ran to "orphan," that's what I'd say you are.
Vesper: If the only thing left of you was your smile and your little finger, you'd still be more of a man than anyone I've ever known.
I'm supposed to take CR seriously, but I can't when I hear anyone speak.
Sometimes I find it hard to decipher what Vesper is actually saying, it's so muffled.
I really don't like the delivery of the lines from Eva Green - while the dialogue on paper seems slightly-okay, she delivers it like some sort of recluse. It's not attractive.
The love story is one of my main gripes with CR'06.

-LeChiffre is very well-acted.
-The PTS is very good.
-The pacing is great, since the movie never drags.
-The torture scene is good.
I do wish broadshoulder gave some positives for at least one of the Brosnans, but I may never see that.

I like the love story in CR as Fleming wrote it. In the film it's just not done well. Overall, I prefer the CBS Climax! teleplay of Casino Royale, though it leaves out the love story.

I had no problem with it when the film came out, it was enjoyable and perhaps even in vogue - but now, the whole thing feels uncomfortable. I am currently reading the novel and Fleming's characterisation of Vesper is better - seems more authentic. Perhaps the writers tried hard too make her modern and why it hasn't aged well.
Interestingly enough, some of the best chemistry IMO would be with:

Octopussy

Madeline
And I'll chuck in Christmas for good measure because she really wanted to F Bond the first time she saw him
Hmm interesting. Never heard of these criticisms regarding CR before. It came out when I was 11 so maybe I didn't see the movie in that light before. But even upon my most recent watch I had no problems with dialogue. Maybe it's my likeness of Eva Green as an actress but I liked her character very much.
Personally I thought the romance in CR was more believable then Spectre. By far. To Bonds character and just in general. I thought the train scene was actually a decent scene. Oh well.
