Wing collar shirts are for the help or entertainment.
Yeah I am aware of that, I was far more comfortable with a regular collar one too, it just wasn't in my size anymore and I wanted to wear my 007 manchet buttons with a fitting shirt! But, i'll make sure I'll provide some entertainment

Wear what you are comfortable in Dutchfinger. -{ I'm sure you'll look terrific.
For instance, I'll be in sweatshirt and jeans. as I'm a Slob ! )
Thanks TP! Here's how it looks:

Mark sure your wear the bow tie in front of the collar wings, not like that guy.
I am that guy :P
And yeah, just read that one myself. (Never wore winged collars before) I will, thanks - I was thinking about buying a regular collar version anyway. I do agree it's far more Bondian, and it was what I originally wanted to buy. The only problem is, the one with the regular collar that is available is only one size smaller than my size. I am thinking about buying it, but it'll probably end up being a bit to tight at the neck area...
a bit off topic and maybe a bit laughable:
anybody of you wearing something special to their (first) viewing?
Well, I am wearing a Bond tuxedo that is completely off, if you just look up a couple of posts :P
But ohwell!
Looking good Dutchfinger. -{
I am getting suited up myself. Don't get to wear a suit very often, only for special occasions. And the release of a Bond film counts as a special occasion to me. :007)

No! What are we! Geeks!
almost certainly -{

I'm going to watch it with my 10year old Son at my local cinema in Torquay at 8.15 tonight - which is its only showing on the opening day at this particular cinema. My son's first 007 cinema experience was Skyfall. Needless to say he is as excited as I am.

I have a lovely made to measure white shirt that has Bond/Cocktail cuffs (Turnbull & Asser style) so will be wearing that most definitely. As for what els I do not know yet. My son may feel embarrassed if I am totally suited and booted. So may wear something a little more casual with the shirt.
Booked 2 tickets for Manchester Printworks IMAX showing on 31st at 8pm. We've gone for the vodka martini package, which means Mrs C-H will get 2 drinks as I'm driving!!
So excited, now that the fan reviews are coming in. May well be wearing my Barbour Lodge and C&J Islays for the event, and my AJB pin badge of course.
Saw the film last night so it had to be the London outfit
Cheers :007)
Very nice. You should remove the wedding ring though for more authenticity.
If I did that I would be going alone and facing a huge divorce bill - some things are just not worth going that SA )
Cheers :007)

I'll be seeing SP with my girlfriend on Thursday, November 5. My original plan was to go to the first showing of course, at 7:00 P.M. However, as of yesterday I've been informed that she's getting her hair done that night, so I guess it'll have to be the 9:00!!! 8-)
The martinis won't be the only thing over ice I'm afraid. :v

There's an IMAX in Bloomington, about 30ish miles away. Will probably buy advance tickets soon :007)

I bought my tickets for the local Imax yesterday. I wish I didn't have to wait until next Thursday to see it.

Buying just an hour beforehand, I managed to get one of the last remaining tickets (in the front row, too) for the first night... at the Putney Odeon (the cinema in which, I believe, the young Pierce Brosnan first saw GF as a kid!) My second viewing will be early on Saturday morning at the BFI IMAX.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.
Now back in my hotel after a great evening of SPECTRE! What a movie! (Will not go to deeply into it cause of spoilers) also got to meet fellow AJBer DutchJamesBondFan and had some nice chats. Our chat was interrupted when someone of the personal handed me a poster because they were impressed by my outfit so that was awesome!
