I watched it last night for the first time since seeing it in theaters, nowhere near as bad as I remember. It was surprisingly... mediocre. I wouldn't say I like it now, and it's still my least favorite film in the franchise, but I take back the ridiculous vitriol I remember using when it was released in 2008.
But the movie that has grown on me the most is definitely The World is Not Enough. Just a few years ago I considered it one of the worst, now it's in my top 5. I have seen the light

Christmas Jones has also grown on me. She's objectively terrible, sure, but seeing Denise Richards play nuclear physicist is pretty damn funny. I doubt the filmmakers intended her to be comic relief, but it works.
Also as a red-blooded male, I can't argue with that Lara Croft outfit. Bond couldn't either, apparently.

That's why I can overlook her acting or lack thereof, she's so damn sexy in that film.
Denise Richards is hot, that's true. But there are other actresses who are sexy, but unlike Richards beliveable as intelligent and highly educated. Jennifer Connelly is a good example. Aishwarya Rai or Kate Beckinsale would be great Christmas Jones' too.

I like live and let die the most of the films i have seen but I have not seen all the films yet so this might change. I have watch live and let die for five times and i think it is funny and action and a good first film for sir Roger Moore.
Where do I begin?! I was introduced to Bond as a ten-year-old when one of our local television stations (in Australia) had a Bond marathon.
In chronological order here are the Bond films that have grown on me:
From Russia with Love: initially thought it was boring, now I think it is the best Bond film.
Goldfinger: again I first found it boring, but as I've grown older I've come to appreciate the 'wittiness' of the film (Goldfinger is a very witty film, if we're going to be honest).
On Her Majesty's Secret Service: first found it over-long, but, like a fine wine, the film gets better with every viewing.
For Your Eyes Only: I initially found it boring, but now I consider it Moore's second best Bond after 'the Spy Who Loved Me'.
Licence to Kill: at first it didn't 'feel' like Bond to me and certain scenes (mainly Krest's head exploding) gave me nightmares as a young kid. Now I rank Licence to Kill in my top five Bond movies.
I tend to at least like a Bond film, so there is no one huge standout that went from distaste to being a favourite. But, I think I have grown to appreciate Thunderball and The Man with the Golden Gun far more than when I originally saw them.

The Living Daylights and Diamonds Are Forever are ones I hated for a long time. Granted I was 6 when I saw DAF the first time so it wasn't one to really hold my attention the first go around. But watching now at 16 I can really appreciate it more (even though Connery was clearly there for the paycheck and nothing more). I recently feel in love with TLD this year at my 16th b-day party and I watched it and realized just how good it really is
That'd be Tomorrow Never Dies, which climbs up my rankings with every passing year. I initially waved it off as just another generic Brosnan action vehicle but now have come to relish the sheer entertainment factor and its bombastic theatrics. It's one of the most purely fun vessels of escapism in the series, and for me Brosnan's best.
