When Goldeneye came out, i was 5. Brosnan was my childhood Bond.
^ Same age, same story.
Brosnan was the one and only Bond in my childhood. Even DAD, which I don't think that much of anymore now, was an awesome movie as a 12 year old! I guess you could say in some way's it was what Moonraker was to those who grew up with that movie.
I was born in '89, a few months before the release of LTK, so my childhood was pure Brosnan. The first Bond movie I saw was TND when it came out on video, and GE was THE Bond film that the kids discussed and re-inacted on the playground. I came into adolescence with the release of DAD, and was a senior in High School when CR came out. Pierce is not my favorite Bond, but he and his films will always have a special place in my heart because he was Bond when I became a super fan -{

OHMSS , was brought as a baby to a screening
( I like to think my Dad held me up in a " lion King" way
Saying to our ancestors" He will be a Bond fan" )
LALD, pestered my big brother to take me
TSWLM, wow ! Blew me away as a teen
MR, very impressive for this 15 year old
FYEO, lover Roger Moore in this, and loved the ski chase
Became a Man. ( augmentation surgery, fully successful )
While I grew up during the Brosnan era, I was never a big fan as a kid. I owned GoldenEye 007 for the N64 and played it constantly, but for whatever reason it never inspired me to watch the films.
What made me a fan was catching Dr. No on cable in high school. I was taken in by Connery's magnetic charisma and skill with the ladies, and as a shy introvert I envied him greatly and fantasized about being like him. Watched every Bond movie after that and a fanboy was born.
Born in 1964..Live And Let Die was first seen at cinema 1973...got hooked and saw the previous ones on various double bills (including one triple bill at The London Pavilion-now Trocadero) in London
