What Bond film was 007's easiest mission?

What film had Bond doing the least amount of work?
A mission where he seemed to have a lot of it under control.
Didn't seem to be in too many dangerous situations.
Didn't break a sweat?
Compared to a film where he suffered a lot of drama and action.
To me, TMWTGG stands out as a film where he only kills one person, Scaramanga.

Any ideas?

I don't think TMWTGG... because for quite some time bond thinks Scaramanga has a contract on him. And bond seems stressed throughout those scenes!

It is a good question though, no bond mission has ever been easy... I think LALD is sticking out the most though.

Bond didn't have to kill anyone in Goldfinger (except Oddjob), but he himself was in palpable danger.

I always thought Bond had a really easy time in Goldfinger. Even though he is in danger, he just coasts through it. In LALD and TMWTGG, Bond is captured and has to work his way out. When Bond is captured in GF, he just stays happily captured.

Oddly enough, based on these parameters, I'd say From Russia with Love. A lot of the trip is the set up and the romance, and 007 is mostly unaware of the danger until much later (that Grant is an imposter, that a sex film of him exists). He is in control for most of the film, only realizing he's been duped in the third act. While well done and meaningful, even his "fights" in the film are largely not his -- when he is being followed in the museum, the Gypsy camp, shooting Krylenko -- until much later. it's not so much that he's not threatened as he's unaware. It's a more suspenseful film this way, but he doesn't work as hard.

Live and Let Die, he did nothing in it and should give back his wages.

Goldfinger because he was captive throughout most of it and had no real control over the outcome of the mission.

He played a game of golf, drove around in Switzerland, hung out in jail, and then finally broke a sweat fighting with Oddjob.

Plus he didn't even have to be there- there was a whole army he was with. He could have sat that one out and gone and got Domino.

Bond really needs to take it easy. He has clearly been working too hard in the past couple of decades when he has proven in the past that he can be a lot lazier and still save the world. The writers need to go easier on Daniel Craig. :p

    SPECTRE holds that crown now

Yes. By far. Franz Obenhauser never put Bond's life in serious danger. He just wanted to pester him.
