If folks are looking for real budget alternatives for the
TF Solden pants, check out ebay and look for "mens vintage Bogner ski pants". They look like this:
Prices range from about $10 to $60. They're not wool and they're missing the pleats. But they could definitely work

Those look interesting... plus I kind of lack the fact they do NOT have pleats... but yeah the prices are all over the place... shame that the really good looking ones are all teenie sizes !
Not sure if this has been linked to, but Barbour has entered the Solden-type jacket market. Cotton instead of wool, so machine washable. In black, charcoal, and navy.
Interesting to see that there seem to be a lot of new or re-releases which are Bond-inspired. SPECTRE was the first movie where I followed this sort of thing closely and I didn't know how long it would continue.
The Barbour in black doesn't particularly impress me though, looks almost like the super.natural.
However I did buy the Zara quilted gloves and H&M Mr White jacket, both of which are very nice.

It does look to be around the super.natural build/quality. Lighter weight and machine washable.
New post! I've been on a bit of a sweater tear lately, so to mix it up I'm thinking about starting "Footwear Fridays". This one is on affordable options for the Sanders & Sanders chukkas:
Also got myself a new camera, lights, etc. So I'll be playing around with that this weekend and experimenting with different shots! Love to get some feedback from you guys!

Some great alternative boots there canoe2, I'm a bit confused though about the delicious junction boots not coming in brown as I have them in that colour.
I looked everywhere for them in brown: the delicious junction site and about 20 others. I found black, navy and snuff. But no dark brown. Where did you get your's?
I know they had brown around a year ago. They were on clearance at the time. I found the Delicious Junction chukkas to be very narrow and a little short
Budget alternative for the N.Peal mock turtle neck. Pearl gray is a good substitute for Fumo gray. They run a little big. So size down. Size small has a similar fit to the N.Peal medium.
Couldn't resist. Had to try out the new camera setup this afternoon. Still working on getting the ideal lighting arrangement and figuring out the new camera sensors. These are first efforts, but I think they got a little better each time. Started to get more color accurate at least. But I have a feeling I'm gonna need ALOT of practice to get any good at this
Oh my god canoe2, your collection is amazing! I'm totally blown away. The pics are great man. The setup seems to be picking up the true color of the pieces. Keep at it man. I like seeing the outfits arranged and shot this way. -{

I got mine from adaptor clothing, and earlier on this year. As I bought and wore out the Sanders first.
*just discovered they have been discontinued in brown!

some good alternatives there canoe2. I always thought it was an older version of the Royal navy windproof smock, or flight deck smock, and you can still pick up some more modern versions via fleabay and surplus stores.. you might even come across an original!

BUDGET canoe2??
Yeah, I didn't link to those ones
MFisher: they'll probably be one of those "have patience" items, like leather jackets. A good option in a reasonable size will turn up once and while.

Chriscoop: I added a special one just for you; see if you can guess what it is ... :v

Looking around the web the price is around 120GBP or 130-150 USD.

How does the H&M jacket fit?
I'd say true to size. Got a medium like in almost all my other jackets. It's not extremy fitted but just right to layer a sweater underneath.
