Do the OB Felix polos run long or short? I prefer a shorter length polos. That's the one thing I dislike about the Sunspel, they run super long, great for tucking in, but doesn't look good on me untucked.
I would say that the Felix runs short. I can't imagine trying to tuck it it in. I'm sure it would keep coming loose if you did.

Thanks man! Been wanting to try OB for a while now. With all the praise, the sale, and your input, I think now would be good time.
I'm over the ditch in NZ and like the Marc's stuff, some nice budget items., A work mate purchased a long sleeve shirt from them 2 years ago which is made from the exact pattern of the enjoying death shirt, so keep an eye open in the Op Shops!
Matt1979: I keep hearing great things about those Burtons. Glad you got a pair!
JTM: Those look good! It's always difficult to decide what characteristics we're going to focus on. Boot style? Suede color? Brick red sole? Sometimes it's a compromise ....
New post! Our own Mr. James Brosnan reviews his Menlo. I strongly suggest you read to the end of his article

Commandant: not a problem. I'll post some pics of how I clipped mine shortly.
Uncle27: good point. You must have a different season. I noted some difference between seasons, but forgot about the lining color. I will add a note to the post. Many thanks.
James Brosnan, what can I say brother, you have a great attitude and I'm so so grateful you remain with us. -{ -{

Well done Brosnan , that review was spot on and a heart warming story , so pleased your all okay now.
I wish i would of read this before I bought mine , I got a L and had it tailored to me roughly a M and the sleeves are a touch long.
Without knowing I ended up with the older version which I didn't really want , I love the jacket but wish I had the darker Brown.
chucking it out there if I got the one I wanted !
WOULD ANYONE WANT TO BUY MY VERSION SAY £400 or NO

Chriscoop & Chriscollins007: thanks guys. I really appreciate the kind words. I'm still kickin'! Turned out to just be a bad bacterial infection causing the coughing up blood and the mass in my lungs was from a shingles infection that I had right before that. the two together mimicked lung cancer, so the docs had me going for a good year there. Just feel blessed as hell though. :007)
Commandant: here is how I clamped my Menlo collar:
First, I chose the curve I wanted to make. I decided on the curve with the jacket on to see what looked good:
Then I folded it along that curve and pinched it at the curve line:
Lastly, I just used a chip-clip from the kitchen to clamp it like in the picture:
I left both sides clipped for a day, and it has that natural curve now, which looks better on me than the rigid straight collar. One could also clamp the curve with a second clamp, but that might be overkill and look less natural.
Has anybody gone for this Reiss charcoal mock turtle alternative - if so, any guidance on sizing would be appreciated. The sleeves look long given the model is 6' 2" tall and only in a M.
) Yeah, I think Chris might be getting a little side money from Reiss, with all the promoting he is doing. But, hey, it was his love of the brand that made me pull the trigger in the BC belt alternative.
I have a pair of Burton Menswear Taupe Tapered Slim Fit Trousers (Spectre alternative) in size 32 if anyone is interested. They're still new in the bag.

They feel like £70-£80 worth, so an absolute steal at £10!!
Thanks guys!!
Even though it's a Chukka boot, it's still a great alternative in my eyes. They were a steal for 50% off at $99 AUD (approx 72USD/£58).
The website only shows 42's in stock but I did see 43's, 44's, 45's and 42's in the stores I visited.

Make out the sizing??

Similar style/look to the Canada Goose Lodge Hoody (and with the Scotch & Soda Craig link);

I second this whole heartedly.
The collar is indeed a problem.
Can you teach us how to clip/fix it?
One observation though... Not all the linings are orange. My Menlo has a bronze colour lining.

I'm a 36 or I would've had them mate.
I have a medium in this and its a great fit (I'm 5'8" with a 40" chest and 31" waist)
