I thought this is worthy an own thread.

I just scroled through Google and found this image...

In TLD, we only see the door clising, but never actually Saunders himself.
my guess is it was cut due to voilence, if so it would mean that TLD would already set the shift of tone from LTK

    Yeah probably a little too graphic to include in the film, and T Dalt's reaction is powerful enough to his death.

    I tend to find that the mechanism that runs the automatic door is a little OTT!
