Since one talks so often about Bond-related stuff on this site, it absolutely makes sense to use the BG term.

If we can abbreviate film titles, why not do the same with other stuff?

Plus, it's faster/easier to type BG than it is to type Bond Girl.

But where do the abbreviations stop? It makes sense with film titles and other common generic forum terms. Abbreviating many things just shows less respect to the community.

You could make a few suggestions here, The AJB Glossary ?

I don't mind if you used it :) .... Only thing is that if you believe that abbreviating = disrespect, you should not do it even sarcastically (like if someone believes that stealing is criminal, he would not steal even to be sarcastic)

As for me, I have set no such rules for myself so am not bound to anything :D

Seconded- why not do just that? I'm not bothered by BG, though BV will always mean Backing Vocals to me! :))

ABPIDLBBWAMB = A Brosnan performance I didn't like because Brosnan was a mediocre Bond.

I like your style, although since PTS stands for pre-title sequence, I thought TS stood for title sequence.

Maybe use TSS when referring to the title sequence song?

Kidding aside, there are just too many beautiful Bond Girls to even try to rank them. I just want to highlight one. I hate to go back to the Die Another Day well, but Rosamund Pike.... When she whips off her fencing mask and flashes a smile with several strands of long blonde hair flying into her face..... stunning.

On the negative side, was anyone else really disappointed when they found out Halle Barry was sporting a very short pixie haircut for Die Another Day? Looks awful.

I love that haircut! Suits Halle very well.
