Most magical moments / cinematic conveniences

As we know Bond films are entertaining. However, to tell the story in 2 hours or as they as for cinematic convenience or just to try something new, the films have some magical moments / vanishing acts / something unexplainable / etc. (you get the point) .... Some of the most memorable ones (from the top of my mind) include:

* GF - Somehow Leiter gets Bond's message and is at Fort Knox

* YOLT - The helicopter dumps the car in to the Sea of Japan. It is broadcast live to Bond in the car! The car has video conferencing capabilities too. This was magic at its best

* TMWTGG - To get further clues on Scaramanga, Bond goes to Beirut to get the bullet 002 was assassinated with. However, the bullet with 007 inscribed on it and received by MI6 is probably never analyzed

* OP - Bond gets in and out of the Gorilla suit

* SP - M's disappearing act once the Jaguar crashes and Bond is taken

    * GE - Bond bungee jumps down a dam wall, and later emerges on the side of a damn mountain! Magical geography (so magical I never thought about it until it was mentioned here!)! :))

    * YOLT - Bond is disguised as a Japanese and is training to be a ninja at a presumably secret location .... However, he is constantly attacked. Aki is killed too. All of these put a question mark on the effectiveness of his magical disguise

    * FYEO - Melina gets a telegram asking her to come to Italy. Why not just finish her off at her home when the bad guys already had her address :))

    * OP - Bond is listening to the conversation b/w Orlov and Kamal through the ear piece. Orlov and Kamal are in the basement of the monsoon palace. Magda switches on the hair dryer in her room presumable on the first floor. Bond, who is in the basement too, has trouble listening to Orlov and Kamal .... To Magda's magical hair dryer -{

    Again OP - The final fight in the Monsoon palace goes from early in the morning to broad daylight in a matter of moments. :D

    * FYEO - Bond boards the ship underwater and discovers that ATAC can be destroyed by activating the 1 min fuse. Instead, he decides to read manuals underwater, dismantle the system and take the ATAC out (which so many people are after)

    * GE - In the PTS, when Trevelyan sees Bond he confronts him with a gun and speaks in Russian. Then he comes out of the shadows and both meet as associates .... To Trevelyan's magical idea of playing a prank in the middle of a mission -{

    * SP - Bond is searching for Swann in the old MI6 building. All of a sudden, he hears knocks and yells. He zeros in on to the location and discovers than Swann is gagged and tied to the chair .... To the magical powers of Swann to knock on the wall and yell in that condition {[]

    It's actually natural - near the equator the sun rises and sets at an almost right angle, and it is a matter of a few minutes between total darkness and daylight.

    Well, we know the one sent to M has recently arrived and Andrea would have left no marks. The 002 in Beirut means that they have a get a copy after it has passed through Bonds digestive system, and it leads to Lazar

    ^ That is a funny explaination :))

    Note:

    1. The bullet was traced to Lazar based on its composition. I think it was the percentage of nickel content or something like that
    2. The bullet having passed through Bond's digestive system has no importance except for comedy value. In fact, no one could hv anticipated that the bullet would go through Bond's system
    3. Since Andrea wanted Bond to pursue Scaramanga, ideally, the bullet should hv been tracable. (and it would more likely be made by Lazar too so would hv similar nickel content)

    TLD - Kara manages to take her coat and hat off, put it on the cello case, run to the car and get into the Aston, and Bond starts driving - all in the space of about 10 seconds whilst the tram passes!

    TB- Bond gets yanked rather suddenly from the raft at the end, and manages to securely hold on to his lovely 100 lb package without a slip. :)

    Could be. Recently, I re-watched many of the Bond films back to back after a long time so may have missed a few things. Will check it out to see how it is explained :)

    Cinematic convieniences? Um, Bratislava, TLD, Opening scene Goldeneye and CR-06, opening scene flashbacks.
