Calvin Dyson's Ranking of the Bond Films.......

So two years back Calvin Dyson (Popular Bond Channel) has given his rankings of all the official bond films from least face to most faced, I wondered what all of you thought of his list, and what differs for you, I found his ranking very interesting at it is not an objective but subjective despite many other ranking lists online. So here is his list (Discluding Spectre when ch hadn't been realeased yet despite the fact you can see his review on his channel

Do not know who Dyson is. I recall someone mentioned he makes some videos review .... But with GE at #1, and FYEO at #19, it is not the list that I would follow

Yeah...... I've seen other people mention IMDB or Rottwn tomatoes so IMO it didn't feel too weird doing something like this, I want to see other people's view on how they would contrast of compare their similarities or dissimilar views

IMDB, however, is how many thousands of people rate each film. Rotten Tomatoes has professional journalists, and whilst their ratings of the films don't mean much they are in a different class than we are here.

Yeah I don't pay attention to IMDB rankings, they have way too many votes so while that will cancel out your "10/10" and "1/10" diehards - most films just have very similar, average scores.

Rotten Tomatoes for me is the best because it provides a review as well as a score.

But then again, I never follow critic's reviews of Bond films anyway. They don't get it! X-(

Agree with this. Dyson is a jumped up youtuber. He's not a film critic or writes for one of the broadsheets

I looked at his ranking - DN is at 20 which is acceptable for fans but I am not sure if many of the professional reviewers or authority on Bond would rank it so low

I love Calvin, but man do I always disagree with him.
Though, since his opinions are one of the most unique out of all Bond fans I've seen, and because he makes pretty entertaining videos, I'm subscribed. That and there really isn't any big 007 YouTubers out there lol.
He's what keeps me alive during the years there aren't any Bond movies.

They are very entertaining. And e is incredibly funny.
Would also recommend James Bond radio as well. Those guys are huge bond fanatics

Same here. The IMDB rankings are only of minor interest to me and barely mean anything! Then again, neither does this ranking from Calvin. No explanations given…no idea why his ranking would deserve its own special thread.

He's ranked the films according to his own personal taste. Watching some of his reviews, his YOLT and OHMSS reviews are private for some reason.
