Should they try to enlist him for Bond 25?
Paul already did one, I doubt Lennon would have done it, and George passed away, but we still have Ringo.
He's a legend in the music industry and one of the most significant British artists of all time. Plus, he could bring back a vintage old school sound.

I'd like the idea of Ringo doing a Bond theme, but I he'd need someone like David Arnold to write the song. He's not really relevant enough to do a Bond theme. The market isn't going to go for Ringo.
I do agree that Ringo would probably need some help with the writings, but at least we know the drumming will be excellent and with the pool of artists he knows, the guitars would be great too.
Ringo is an icon. The single will sell.
Sure, he's an icon, but I think that Bond would help him more than he would help Bond. He's an icon because he was in the Beatles, not because of his own music, especially not his own music today. Paul did a Bond theme because he had much more input in the Beatles, and he still made a lot of fantastic music since the Beatles. Ringo never did anything on the level of Paul's music. The single won't sell anywhere close to what Sam Smith sold. The demographic that the song needs to target won't care about Ringo's iconic status.
Perhaps if Ringo was paired with a popular singer from today and just provided the drums, that could work.
