LALD - I really like the voodoo elements and that you're not sure whether Baron Samedi is supernatural or not. The ending is brilliant. The title sequence with the skull is pure genius.

Diamonds are Forever for me. An almost nonsensical plot, Blofeld in drag and the fact this film followed on from OHMSS and Bond did not seem to be grieving too much did not make sense. For me, although it has it's good moments, it's also my least favourite Bond film. Moonraker is also very weird.
Agree with daf. But I've always found certain aspects of ohmss a bit weird, particularly the scenes with bond as Sir Hillary and the psychedelic brain washing.

I'm suprised I haven't posted sooner in here.
I see three types of weird. 1) Doesn't make sense, 2) Surreal and open to interpretation 3) Spooky and gives me the creeps!
SF & SP recently have plot holes that just are weird because they are so painfully obvious. I don't stop me from enjoying them, but it is still very odd.
DAD and QoS - due to visual ticks and editing choices both have moments in them that strike me as a bit silly. - These only happen in the action sequences, so it could be put down to technical quirks. QoS is also joined by SF and SP by having slightly arty farty moments, (the opera battle, Mathias's death, the base blowing up) but I can dismiss those without too much trouble as the director trying to be quirky in places, and failing miserably.
However one Bond film is weird as in Spooky in a stand out way, and still gives me the creeps after 33 years. - LALD! "Mr Big's" make up, all the Voodoo and supernatural stuff and Geoffrey Holder's unforgettable and striking performance as Baron Samedi. I may have a spot of trouble getting to sleep now. (Maniacal laughing as a train horn toots.)

The weirdest for me is also my favourite: AVTAK. Walken as a Bond villain, with Grace Jones as his henchwoman/love interest, with all MI6 regulars aged over 50.....topped off with a title song by Duran Duran. I mean, that's pretty weird.
AVTAK is chock full of weird stuff. A butterfly on a stick used as a murder weapon for example

OHMSS is flat out bizarre. Blofeld opening a research clinic in the Swiss alps to brainwash a group of English girls into returning as biological warfare agents. On top of this, Blofeld is also a snob about his ancestry and wants his title as count to be officially recognized thus creating a weakspot for the British Secret Service to exploit. Hardly a standard Cold War thriller or anything along the lines of normal spy work that I can think of.
Somewhere in the midst of all this weirdness, Bond falls in love with Tracy despite she is barely in the story for more than a couple chapters.

Based on my response to a film on first viewing, LALD would have to be the one. The blaxploitation style elements, the supernatural stuff, obviously Kananga's inflation at the end, LALD had many weird things that took me by surprise on first viewing and caused me to not enjoy the film much at all. A few years later I rewatched and absolutely loved the very things that I didn't enjoy on the first go.
I would also go with OHMSS. It's admirable, and tries to be. That in itself is weird for a series all about guilty pleasure. Lazenby, sorry, seems a bit weird, his odd accent and then trying to be a baronet on top of all that. Of course, Blofeld is trying to be someone else too! Then that odd queasy bit on the soundtrack when Bond sees the Piz Gloria gals, ugh!
Don't fancy any of the Bond girls in it either. I fancy Rigg as Mrs Peel but not here.
Another contender is TMWTGG. It's down to its sub-standard mid 70s cheap vibe mainly, the three nipples, naff theme song and rubbish action scenes. Also, no one is really trying to kill Bond for most of it, he just thinks Scaramanga is, assuming he was the one who sent the bullet. It feels like a naff Disney action flick gone wrong.

Certainly the most unexpected casting, yes. Although now Rowan Atkinson's playing Maigret! I never saw that coming either!

Back on topic, weirdest Bond films for mine are the ones with Jaws and Nick Nack. TSWLM, MR and TMWTGG sums it up.
And not in a good way, several pointless scenes, weird things going on here and there, and feels more like a spoof Bond film because of the camp.
