Night Manager... the next Bond

Just last night I was watching the first part of a 6 part miniseries called the Night Manager. It is an adaptation of a John Le Carre story.
Tom Hiddleston plays the title role and I got to thinking whether he would make a suitable replacement for DC when the time comes. The only thing that might stand in the way, in my opinion, is that he does have a look of a young Ralph Fiennes.
Did anyone else see it? I welcome your thoughts.
