Actually I have done Loeffs a disservice. As a rule Moore was a good 20 years older on average than his Bond girls :o

Connery was as a rule roughly 10 years older, the Honorable exception being Honor Blackman who was older than him. Being in your 30s allows you to date or bang women in their 20s it seems.

The Moore discrepancy is simply cos he signed up when he was older, so if he is 46 then really the Bond girl will be in her 20s still, so there you go. That said, Jane Seymour was very young (but then a playing a virgin), ditto Britt Ekland I daresay and even Barbara Bach and so on.

Naturally the gap widened as Moore got older.

So Loeffs is more a Connery guy... :D

I think there is a rule that you can date a girl/woman who is half your age + 7 years.
The rule actually makes sense in a sexist way :D
    Examples:

    M F
    20 - 17
    30 - 22
    40 - 27
    50 - 32

Don't file those divorce papers just yet Chriscoop! :o
The rule sets a lower limit and women several years older can be aceptable - even preferable in some cases. As far as I know this rule has not been made into law in any country yet, as far as I know.

That's what's great about polygamy, every couple of years keep the old one,
    For cooking/ cleaning , then upgrade to a younger model. ;) .... That doesn't
    Sound sexist ?

Hugh Hefner shows an open mind and doesn't think the age gap in his marriage is a problem at all:

Pictures of girls in it. As I was so Interested in the articles. :)

Why not? The factor that's overlooked is that older men who are attractive to younger women, more often than not, are also loaded...so I don't see why similarly loaded, older women cannot attract younger men!

:)) As the comedian Dara O'Briain said once on attending a Student party. It suddenly occurred to him he had crossed that age gap, because absolutely no one in the room was Interested in him sexually :D he was the
    " Dad" in the room.
Recently I had to give my driver's licence number to a new employer ( over the phone) ... After a pause she
Asked if it was correct as they usually start with a letter ? No I gave it again , to which she replied " Hell, you
Must have got your licence years and years ago !" :))
I felt like saying yes, I did my test on horse back. ;)

If I were on the market (which I am not, and grateful that the wife isn't aware of my online life :)) ), and because I don't have a Rolls in the garage, I would be totally dependent on single, pretty young ladies who would happen to have serious daddy issues. You'd likely find me going around Starbucks asking attractive women who are alone if they're busy doing their homework...in a stern tone :v

Apparantely Waltz has commented on returning as Blofeld and is unsure about it. I thought he had signed to return two more times though? Here's the article:

I think he was rumoured to have signed for more but never confirmed

Interesting comments - he clearly wasnt satisfied with how his role turned out and doesnt seem to cancel out any return

Quite right. Either he is after a bigger paycheck much like Craig or he's seriously doubting whether or not to return. I think he really should though. The reason alone to be the first actor to actually play Blofeld twice should be enough, for continuity sake too! Plus it allows him to do better next time!

Honestly, even though Waltz didn't nail the role and gotten nowhere near his oscar worthy potential, I still think he was the best Blofeld we've had. Not because he was that fantastic, but because all the others weren't either. Pleasance was iconic but cartoony with little menace. Savalas was average, he was decent but not what I think of as a great Blofeld. And don't get me started on Charles Gray....

The interview just reinforced the idea that everything is still very undecided at this point and that Waltz appears to be interested in returning if asked back.

Not surprising, he probably saw the lukewarm reception him and the film got. Not really his fault though, they should've let him fly off the rails some more instead of down play the craziness he does so well in the past. Also he sums up Spectre as a whole pretty well "it was ok, but I was searching for more inspiration"

I think we can all agree that there won't be a Bond film released in 2017. But what about 2018? This seems possible when considering the recent three-year gap between Skyfall and SPECTRE, and the comments attributed to an MGM executive that I seem to recall from earlier this year about Bond being on a three-year cycle. Nevertheless, with the distributor question still unresolved, and the apparent uncertainty surrounding the casting of Bond, is 2019 or 2020 more realistic?
