As it's all opinions, everything is 'good' and everything is 'bad'. Just look at my list... AVTAK at the top and CR at the bottom )
Craig was especially miscast for CR, being at least 10 years too old for the way the character was written.
Well we know that Connery was aged 32 when he played Bond in Dr No, we also know Bond had been a 00 for 10 years in that movie, so if they want to go right back to the start of Bonds career, then it would be perfectly ok to cast a 22 year old Bond.

Craig's Bond officially had a different career, which was posted online to make excuses for his age.
IMO, Connery wasn't remotely "haggard" looking in Dr. No. That being said, Connery was a very "mature" looking 32 but it is also reflective of the times and the way he was dressed. Also, it is pretty unrealistic to think that a 22 year old Bond would be a "00".
When you figure in University, military service, and time served in MI6 prior to elevation to "00" status you would be looking at least
30-32 yrs old.
Here's an idea. . .Jamie Dornan. He's an intense actor, as can be seen in The Fall. I just wonder if his association with those Fifty Shades movies might cheapen him. . .

Dornan would not be a bad choice at all. If you have seen the trailer for the 50 Shades sequel there appears to be some intrigue and a touch of Bondish adventure suggested. Unfortunately, Dornan being in that franchise would probably put the scarlet R on him for any Bond consideration. The press, critics, etc would have a field day with it: "Fifty Shades of Bond"; "softcore 007"; etc. Short and blond is one thing....but.

I think Brosnan could return to Bond and be just as good as he was 20 years ago. Forget the Craig timeline, return to the old timeline with little continuity and get Brosnan back in the role. I can dream, can't I?

I'd take a 63 year old Brosnan or a 70 year old Dalton over 90% of the actors mentioned as possible Craig replacement any day.
I think I might too. Brosnan proved just a few years ago in The November Man that he could have still played Bond for another couple films and could have done it dark. Though I didn't love The November Man, it made me sad that he didn't continue to play Bond because he showed could have kept up with the times.
Brosnan looks just fine for a man in his early 60s, and with a bit of make-up could pass for 10 years younger... but much as I hate to say it, he's too old to return as Bond now.

Maybe those movies will keep him tied up?

Give this man a rimshot!
He's 63...
I'd also settle for a 49 year old Craig.

What applies to Brosnan also applies to Olga Kurlyenko in that film! She is much better in that in a very similar role to Camile.
