I've enjoyed Craig's tenure on the whole, but I'm hopeful that he's finished. As a card-carrying member of the Hiddleston Is a Done Deal Club, I've adjusted to the idea of a new Bond and I will now be disappointed if it doesn't happen for Bond 25.
To me the ending of spectre did seem like the ending of DC tenure, tying all his films together ect and he finally gets the girl at the end like all the other fellas did )

Yeah they kinda painted themselves into a corner with that ending.
I agree 100%! Shatterhand is not, in my opinion, a great title for a Bond film. Yes, I know the Flemming reference, but I really hope they don't use it.
I personally think DC has finished and TH will be the new 007 which am fine with, I just hope that they leave the spectre/Blofeld thing alone for his tenure and just have 3( to start with) good stand alone films Property of a Lady, Hilderbrand Rarity and Risico but if wrong(usually am) and DC does another then that could tie up the Blofeld thing and titled Shatterhand then TH could take over for the 3 movies as said
Why does everyone want Shatterhand? The Garden Of Death is a million times better

I would prefer The Death Collector, or The Garden of Death. But I really think this story should be told on the big screen.

I'm all for a You Only Live Twice book adaptation, however can it please, please not be done in the guise of Bond avenging his lady love? It's been done with Craig before, and it would be eye rolling if it occurred again.
Agree, have Blofeld escape from prison and Bond working in private secter, Swan and him have long parted or still together and for first time have same Main Bond girl and Bond is framed by Blofeld in some way so he has to clear his name and kill Blofeld but Swan does'nt die for a change ) this I think will only work if DC returns!!!
Tom Hiddleston trained with two former Royal Marines (SBS?) and two ex-Navy SEAL for his role as an Vietnam-era SAS tracker in King Kong:Skull Island. That may prove useful if he ends up starring as a MI6-agent in 2018. :007)
Doesn't Henry Cavill have two older brothers in the Royal Marines ? ...... Pity he didn't have
Two in an acting school, as it would really help him out. Luckily Tom Hiddleston doesn't need
Any help in the acting stakes.

I would like Daniel Craig to just go away. I really did not enjoy SPECTRE with Daniel Craig in it and felt throughout the entire film, I wish it were his last as "Bond".
I would like to see Tom Cullen, Tom Hardy, Kit Harington, James Scott or Chris Hemsworth in the role as of this month. I will add that I don't think Tom Hardy would be the first choice. They would have to cover up his tattoos. He would make a great villain for a James Bond movie.

I don't get it either

Speaking only for myself, of course, "Shatterhand" has much more of a Bond film ring to it, like "Goldfinger" and "Thunderball". "The Garden of Death", on the other hand, sounds fairly generic.
I like Garden of Death, but I don't love it. The same can be said about Shatterhand. The real question is how well known the German western books and movies are. The books are about a hundred years old, so I'll be surprised if many under the representerer age have read them. It could be that only endel people have read or seen the stories, but somehow it's part of the national conciousnes anyway. Higgins would know.
Shatterhand, The Garden of Death, Property of A Lady, The Death Collector.........all very good titles IMO. Since things are back to being slow (or at a standstill) I thought I'd throw another name out for new Bond if Craig Doesn't return. I've been watching the show "Six" which is a highly fictionalized account of the exploits of the famous US Navy SEAL Team Six. The leader of the SEAL Team is played by British actor Barry Sloane. Now I wouldn't put him ahead of Hiddleston or Turner but he might be pretty decent. Sloane is 6'2", the right age and certainly does well with the physical stuff. He's seems to be a pretty good actor also. For Six they have him pretty bulked up but I've seen some pictures of him in his more normal state and he appears very fit and athletic albeit thinner.
I would say marketing wise Garden of death sounds a bit of a dated title and not very Bond like in terms of the movies despite being flemings work. Shatterhand sounds more effective to me or the Death collector.
Honestly cant see Property of a Lady being used either - maybe in the 80s.
If they can get a superior script and make it into a very good to great Bond film any reasonable title will be fine by me. We like the real Fleming titles because they have actual meaning to us as hardcore Bond fans. For the general public, not so much. But yes, whatever it is needs to sound "Bond".

I agree, most of those titles would be totally ridiculed, especially property of a lady. Remember how Skyfall was initially derided as sounding like a cheap Bond video game title?

Except Blofeld was left alive. I wanted DC to be the bond to kill Blofeld.
1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby
Yes but I meant the reboot Blofeld

Bond should have taken the offer of the delicatessen.
