Hiddleston's hair can go from medium brown with blonde highlights to very dark brown. HowardB said his hair is naturally reddish brown. I would like to see it dyed dark brown for Bond. He doesn't seem to have a problem dying his hair for roles. The "black" hair that Fleming specified would look terrible on Hiddleston.
Indeed! Once the trolls come out, it's proof that change is afoot

Yes, wouldn't need to be black. But it might be a good time to introduce the comma over one eyebrow :007)

I could see the comma working on Hiddleston, and it would distract from his tremendous forehead. {:)

Re-introduce, surely!
He might be just a shade overage these days though....
True! But I was thinking something more pronounced, as in the novels. And when Tim went to the casino in Isthmus City, the comma vanished altogether

Sorry, old man, section 26, paragraph 5. Need-to-know. Sure you understand.
But just for the record: a series of supposedly funny trolling comments on Hiddleston. He was given some friendly advice to stop by Loeffelholz, but continued. He was then given a less friendly warning by me, but continued.
Isn't Turner 6 foot? (Though he looks much smaller in "The Hobbit" ) )
IMDB says 5'11"...and they tend to high-ball it a bit.

Yes, but who isn't? :v Seriously, I never felt Danny's height hurt him as Bond...but I also think he should be the minimum height for the part...anyone else his height had better bring as much game as he did B-)

Tbh it did bug me a bit, most of his leading ladies were taller or as tall as him, in fact I think Dame Judy was the only one on screen who was smaller, know it shouldn't matter but it's James Bond not any action hero, still what's done is done , Christ I miss the Craig wars )

Ony my opinion but in tne jaguar xjf advert, he looks very Bond ! -{
He sure does. I like him, but I wonder if he's a tad too Bondlike if that makes any sense, maybe a bit obvious. If he is our man though I'll be very happy nonetheless.

Agreed. Daniel gave it everything and dug really deep. If it is over he has some of the finest moments of the series to his credit. For me he was able to make me forget that he was so far from my conception of what Bond is like. He to use a current cliché really 'owned it'

Did someone mention on here that EON are doing some sort of announcement this week??
It was hinted at...this still falls into the timeframe (not too long after SP) that it seemed likely that something would be announced if Craig were departing...but as for now, it's quiet. TOO quiet {:)

I missed it. What'd he do?
Bond: “I must be dreaming.”

Nope, I once banned someone after one post. We're a lenient lot here, really.

True- I don't know why they went with that look for that scene.

I just watched the ad... not convinced.
I think that's as optimistic as 5'10 was for Daniel.
