Thanks minigeff! Yes, there seems to be a new wave of prop makers here, and I'm glad to be a part of it. I love your work, mate. Loved that Q scanner you made a while back. It motivated me to have a go at it, but I've only made the 3D model thus far (in Maya). The MI6 wall you posted above is beyond awesome. Really thinking outside the box there. You know you have to build the entire HQ now, right? ) (unless you already have?!)
Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.
lol not sure if i could stomach building legoland in its entirety, getting hold of plans might be a tad tricky.....
haha.. True- and I forgot it looked like Legoland! It might be a fun project for someone to flesh out the interior (just what we see in the films) then scale those rooms up to fill out the building somehow - although the rooms like to change (around) a lot. Maybe make them modular, so you can arrange them how you want. There's certainly an idea there, but a project like that is a bit ambitious for me, though!
Oh GREAT!!! MORE competition!!!!
Seriously, Great stuff.
I'm sure a lot of us here would be willing to help you.

Wow, thanks Ed. That means a lot coming from you, mate. Once I settle in a bit and start building a rapport with others, then I'll fire away with the questions. It would be great to collaborate with others on a project in the future- I have a lot of photoshop and 3D modelling experience to bring to the table. But all in good time of course.
Ed, do you have any new additions to your amazing collection? Would be cool to see more of your stuff.

I had to look twice at what type of plug was being used

Nice work! Be cautious on the LTK chips, only rarely do the screen-used chips come up for sale. Different markings.
Thanks, Matt. Seems the quickest way for anyone to tell is by the crest colour. I've done a bit of my own research on these, and it's to my understanding that there are around 5 different versions of the chips - none with the green crest being screen-used.
I have a few that were doing the rounds on ebay a year ago, sold with two decks and four dice
Additionally, I have this plain deck, which looks to be the one used in the film
Made this paper coaster too. I need to finish the swizzle sticks to compliment this one.

I don't think Jim sells them at that price often. They've been listed at eBay for six years (?). The hexagonal $500 and the $100 on eBay are rarer labels, but the Paulson home play chips start at about $3 each on eBay. I have seen the rarer labels for home play go for $20 to $100 or so each, though, in auctions and private sales . . .
It looks as though both plain roulette and poker/blackjack chips were used for GoldenEye. Those look like $50 green and $100 black chips on Xenia's far left, besides several colors of roulette chips from the Casino de Isthmus.

I collected parts to refurbish the grenade couple of months ago and put some of them together recently.
