Keep seeing reports he was humming with mics still on as he left the reporters...anyone find out yet what it was? Also, though I'm a yank by birth both sets of my grandparents migrated from Scotland and I still have distant family there so I've always been very keen on what goes on socially/politically, etc.. It will be interesting to see what will happen over the next few years - Germany and France have the strongest economies right now, but the UK is almost even with France. It's really sad for me to see the other EU nations in such dire straights. I've visited a lot of them and lived in Italy. I love the culture/history/art and food of these nations and appreciate and respect their individual character. It's such a shame how so many in all areas keep trying to reap short term benefits instead of planning for their children and grandchildren (unfortunately, it's done here as well).
