  I can understand if it was about Bond's fight with Patrice as he has gloves on one minute, then they're off, then they're on again. But even in that scene, he activates the gun with his glove off first.
  
  But why on earth would Bond be wearing gloves with a tuxedo?! It would look ridiculous.
  
  Also hate the fact they're peddling the 'Daniel Craig hates playing Bond' rubbish.

  They're probably talking about the scene where he stalks Patrice. There would be no reason for him to wear gloves with a tuxedo in a casino.

  He's wearing the gloves in that scene, most obvious when Patrice is dangling from Bonds hand outside the building.

  Having worked on films for a number of years I find it practically impossible to imagine that neither the director, the actor, continuity or any writers/producers who might be on set at the time would have noticed that Bond is wearing gloves while handling a dermal-sensor gun. Mistakes happen in films, but are fare less likely to happen when there's a key piece of Bondian tech integral to the climax of the scene. I very much doubt it's true.

  What is interesting is that during the jellyfish scene Bonds gloves do infact come and go, he doesn't have time to put his gloves back on after firing the walther, but they are in fact back on when he fights Patrice and has hold of his hand, both hands are then gloved????

  Although obviously a mistake, the gloves weren't integral to that scene like they were to the dermal-sensor gun casino scene. It could have been a straight forward continuity error that no one picked up on at the time; it could have been that there was a scene of Bond taking the gloves off that ended up on the cutting room floor during the editing process; or it could have been that the scene was shot with and without gloves and gloved/ungloved scenes were accidentally combined in the editing process. Those are my thoughts any way.

  It's actually true, although not the casino scene but the jellyfish scene in Shanghai with Patrice. I don't know the specifics about why and how he got to wear the gloves.. but his hands were replaced in a lot of shots. Colleagues of mine worked on the VFX of those shots and I've seen them working on the hands.

  There was another expensive wardrobe malfunction in SF, when Ralph Fiennes accidentally
  wore one of Dame Judi's dresses for a scene. It too had to be Digital removed, if you notice in
  his first scene with Dame Judi, he's so much taller, because of her high heels he was wearing.
  I think it's up there with the clown suit Sir Roger began wearing, and which had to be worked
  in to Octopussy. As digital hadn't been invented yet.

  I've always just taken it as a continuity error,or simply DC needed the gloves to hold on to Patrice, but the more you think about it, Bond would never have put his gloves back on after taking them off in the Mercedes.
