Hi everyone ! Been a fan of the forumn for at least five years and am amazed at the great people and knowledge on this site and I am honoured to be a part of it ! At last!
Having worked in the security industry for over 15 years including teaching martial arts to a first response unit and joining the unit for 5 years. I wanted to see everyone's thoughts on what equipment do you think James Bond would carry A, on his person in form of edc. And B, what he would carry in his bug out bag in order to survive and thrive in any mission situation.
It will be fun to see everyone's opinions of current available equipment they would equip their James Bond with.
Gentleman and Ladies I'm honoured to be apart of such a great forum!
Thanks for having me! -{

In the last three films, Bond has carried a small knife on his person, a fixed blade one in QOS that he gives to the men arresting him, a folding one in Skyfall when he cuts the bullet fragments out of his shoulder, and another one in SPECTRE when he rescues Madeleine. There are discussions on this forum about what specific make/model of knives they are if you're interested.
We also see in QOS he carries business cards that fit his cover identity, and of course he always has his Sony mobile phone! In Casino Royale he has a sterling silver money clip from Douglas Pell for his cash and cards. Other than his Walther PPK, I can't think of anything else at the moment. I'm always interested in the little details like these.
Final thought: his Omega watch too, if you count watches.
Bond: “I must be dreaming.”
Probably several.
With 007's training a small bug out bag must be a part of his equipment in case he has to go to ground in a moments notice ...off radar so the speak. A small backpack containing all he would need . survival kit,knife,solar charger for phone laptop tent or tarp self heating meals water knife for general survival duties .
It may be fun in the next movie to see him in a survival situation and practicing his self reliance maybe rescuing a fellow spy. We haven't seen 007 diving in a while also. So he could approach the hostile territory unseen. In quite a few Fleming novels James Bond is seen as been at home diving/snorkeling, and off course the pts in goldfinger .....such a great bit of cinema history. Any thoughts on what you would have him carry for off grid survival ?
