For Sale- Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co Axial- Like New Condition

Up for sale is a Master Co Axial Omega Seamaster 300 (Non Spectre Model) with Full Box, Papers, Omega Red Bag, Bracelet & Omega Baraenia Brown Leather NATO Strap.

I am asking for $4,000 USD as the watch is in like new condition with everything. I purchased this watch at an Omega Boutique back in December 2015 and wore it maybe three times at best. I find myself wearing my Planet Ocean and Aqua Terra a lot more.

PM me for more pics or email me at SriramS20@gmail.com

I will 2 day the watch via FedEx for anyone interested in the watch in the US.

Thanks,

Sriram

My concern is about the tax and duty, not the shipping. How much custom should I approximately expect to pay into Her Majesty's treasury ?

I can check with my local FedEx to calculate the costs on tax and duty and let you know.

You'll have to pay full VAT ( presumably 20% ) on the declared value plus some % duties and a handling fee to FedEx

Yes, I thought so. The only question is, whether is it worth to "import" it to EU or find something here. Or maybe I would be better off flying to US and bring it back as an item I'd already owned :D

With the weak GBP, that won't make much sense and you'd still have to declare the watch when entering the country.

And how would they knew whether I bought it there and not had it beforehand? This is something always made me curious.

I recently bought a second-hand Omega Seamaster 300m. I had been hunting for an affordable one for months, and being in Australia I was also aware that anything bought overseas with a value of $1,000 or more would attract import taxes. I found out that this particular watch tended to fetch specific price ranges depending on the country it was sold from - USA being the most expensive. Australia, on the other hand, was amongst the cheapest. In the end after negotiating with a few eBay sellers I found one willing to reduce the price, and with him being in Australia I did not have to worry about any import taxes. So as a general rule, if you are looking for an expensive second-hand watch, it's probably best to look in your own country first, even if it takes a few months.

And I feel really sorry for those in the UK - in Australia we can purchase goods on the Net up to $1,000 without having to pay tax. It seems that in the UK anything over 50p attracts import dues!

Wow, the price is more and more tempting... at this rate I may be able to afford the watch in about 3 months' time!

And when the price goes under $1,000 (Australian), there will be no import dues! :)) :)) :))

Thats around £2900, pretty good price, nearest I've seen recently in the uk is £3100 and that didn't have the leather strap. Unfortunately with an extra £750.00 in import duty and vat makes it less competitive here in the UK. I really hope you sell this siriam they are lovely watches, I love mine.
It was either that.....or the priesthood
