Hey Bond fans! I posted a video on youtube where I talk about Daniel Craig's importance to Bond 25 and what I'd like to see in the movie. I'd be interested to get feedback from anyone because I'm thinking on doing a Ranking Of The Bond movies soon. Anyways here's the video for anyone who'd be willing to check it out ...

    Is this also supposed to be one of the lines were's not to take seriously? And if he does come back, will Bond only be wearing long-sleeved shirts to hide the slashes on his wrists?

    Context is everything when talking about DC's comments, I think at the time he mentioned only doing for the money was just after completing SP and at that moment was probably being truthful, it doesn't mean " I'm only ever going to do another bond film if they bribe me with money "

    I don't think he's going to forget about the pain he went through to make Spectre. He was never this negative after filming any of the other Bond films. I'm convinced he meant it at the time (unlike slitting his wrists, which I hope he will never do). He's not going to put himself through shooting a Bond film again unless it's worth it to him even more. I don't think he will accomplish anything further personally or artistically by making another Bond film. I can't think of reasons for him to make another Bond film besides money.

    I think if they came up with the right script he would do it, for some reason the SP shoot was very arduous for him. I don't think he needs to do another either and I'd like to see him in other roles as he was a favourite actor of mine before he became bond

    I couldn't have said it better...however I am prepared to move on to a new Bond if that's how it ends up (unless they really c_ _k it up) :# .

    Yeah that's what I think as well. He may have meant it at the time but I doubt he still harbors that much irritation. I think with time he could come around.

    He was walking that comment back days later, and for the rest of the publicity tour. Essentially "if you're asking me today, the answer is no."

    Yes which was pretty much the question when he responded with slash my wrists comment, and I think his comment would have been the same if someone asked him to instantly film anything straight away. He made it clear he had been away from home a long time and just wanted to go back to his family. By the same token when asked a similar question his response was basically the only reason he would do it would be for money, which I think interprets into " I'd only do it for the money which is not a good reason to do a film so no I wouldn't do it at all, right at this moment in time "
    DC dislikes the whole publicity machine and journos with stupid questions. If you watch the johnathan ross interview done on set the same day they'd been doing reshoots DC is coy about returning but pleasantly so.
