The Property of A Lady (1991-1994)

Did you guys back in the day devour every new bit of info in the news or TV regarding the would-be 3rd Dalton movie?. I know I did. In the UK in the early-mid 90s there was a program on ITV called Movies,Movies,Movies (later Movies, Games & Videos) and it was a brilliant show - it used to review the latest releases and have interviews and trailers - but it was aimed at a young generation of moviegoers and was a lot of fun. Around the time of the Dr. No 30th anniversary and release of the re-mastered movies on to VHS - the show did a feature on the third Dalton Bond. They said it was going to be called 007 and this had upset Dalton and Cubby because it was a bland title and they had hoped to use The Property of A Lady (a title btw I loved coz I had heard it used in Octopussy wich was one of my faves). Over the months info about the movie would leak through and I remember they announced that Russell Mulcahy would be the Director. To think, for 6 long years Bond was off the map completely and we never knew for sure if there would ever be a new Bond movie. But it came back bigger than I think anyone had expected.
