Amazing work, with beautiful choices and integration of landscape imagery from the films.

I have to ask about the circle situated in Bond's head.
This seems to merge an idea of the sun, or moon, over the featured landscapes with - possibly - a suggestion of the Bond films' microdot/ gunbarrel motif. It could also be a memento mori, suggesting that Craig's Bond is ultimately a dead man - shot in the head? - or it could suggest that Craig's Bond has a 'hollow' eye: he's a man desensitised by serial loss and violence.

Your use of silhouettes links the work, too, to the aesthetics of Bond main titles sequences - especially the CR06 titles sequence which suggested an idea that Craig's Bond is a 'silhouette' of a man.

This by far is one of the best responses I've received regarding my Bond series of posters. I wish I could take credit for what you've just described. All fantastic responses! Sadly this isn't quite the case. I decided to use the circles to stay true to the works of artist Olly Moss, primary for his Star Wars series of posters. My Bond posters are heavily inspired by his. I thought the circles worked well with the use of landscapes, and in context of James Bond with the use of the gun barrel sequence. I hope this answers your questions. Thank you so much for sharing your interpretation of my designs. I've really enjoyed reading them :)

I've officially finished my series of James Bond/Daniel Craig fan art posters. My posters are a tribute to the Daniel Craig era of James Bond films and inspired by the works of Olly Moss. I hope you like them! https://www.instagram.com/licencetocreate

I guess they never used the illustrated poster contest for their main campaign. Perhaps with covid they either forgot or hoped people would forget.

I was right though in my thinking back then that they should have given the winner some element of the film's tone to work with.

The contest was never actually specifically for NTTD.

It wasn't? I do remember seeing illustrations for the other movies. I guess I was just interesting in seeing an illustrated poster for No Time to Die. I remember Daniel Craig making a video for the contest. I really thought they were going to use either the winning poster or get the artist to do something.

Stone me aka bugger me, is this you @emtiem ? I've been RTing this on Twitter. I hate the film - but I'd buy a copy of this - that's how good it is!

Nice one😃 I have never understood why they have never made Bond figures. They seem to for every other franchise and I for one would buy them!
