You only see that when it's dropped off the roof and it goes off. The only other time you see one of those is briefly in FYEO. And that's the only time you see Bond hold one on screen. There are several floating around in the States that Stembridge claims are used by Bond in LTK, but that is utterly untrue.
I've seen a LTK PPK among a display of film weapons at the NRA's museum in Virginia, do you know if that's authentic?

I understand. I would never buy a firearm that I couldn't fire. I'd sooner look at photos than waste my money on something that sits on a shelf.
I have live firing weapons, including a P99 compact, and another ppk but being in the UK they have to live in a licenced armoury. the deac ppk was a gift that lives in its presentation box frame. I had a preference back in the bad days to carry a ppk as a personal protection weapon hence the gift.

It's not. All the screen used PPK's in LTK are in the UK. Stembridge did supply a Zella PPK which 'might' have been used during the titles. Sadly there are a few going around the US that have been sold by Stembridge and auction houses as screen used by Dalton. Not true.

I've been all over my local shops and gunbroker, I think your collection has more than any of them! A PPK/S is definitely my next purchase, but having some trouble finding non S&W in decent shape. I may try Rock Island Auctions this time around

Passed up on one years ago when I was overseas and it was LF, always regretted it, wasn't to know how much I was to get into Bond years later!
